Operating Instructions

General Operation

The HYPER GO H12Y is designed for versatile off-road performance. Use the trigger on the transmitter for throttle control (forward/reverse) and the wheel for steering. Adjust the dual rate knobs (ST.D/R and TH.D/R) to fine-tune steering sensitivity and throttle output for different terrains and driving styles.

Key Features and Performance

  • Metal Synthesis Shell:

The vehicle features a full metal sheet metal synthesized body, providing durability and a realistic appearance. It includes a visual interior, a flip-open hood for easy access, and functional taillights with working turn signals and reversing lights, enhancing the simulation effect.

  • Excellent Off-Road Performance:

Equipped with portal axles, the H12Y offers increased ground clearance, allowing it to navigate challenging terrains. Metal oil-filled shock absorbers and metal telescopic driveshafts ensure a stable off-road stance and maximum suspension travel.

  • Extreme Approach Angles:

The H12Y boasts a front approach angle of 58°, a rear approach angle of 46°, and a passing angle of 62°. These angles provide extreme capability for overcoming steep obstacles and navigating deep ruts.

  • Brushless Motor:

The 3650 Brushless Motor offers robust performance. When using auto-cruise for low-speed off-roading, the Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) automatically recognizes resistance and compensates for torque, simplifying obstacle traversal. On flat or snowy terrain, the motor can achieve speeds of up to 15 Km/h.

  • Towing Capability:

The H12Y is capable of towing up to 25KG, making it suitable for light hauling tasks. An electronic winch (not included, available on Amazon store) can be added, with a dedicated towing button on the transmitter ready for use.

  • 4-Channel Radio System:

The 2.4GHz transmitter system includes a unique cruise control feature for long distances and a drag brake. Use the "TH D/R" knob to set the speed, then fine-tune it with the multi-function knob. Controllable lighting buttons and a reserved winch access button are also present. The system supports multiple participants for group play.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning:

After use, especially in dirty or wet conditions, perform a quick rinse to remove debris. Ensure the vehicle is thoroughly dried to prevent oxidation and rust, particularly on metal components.

  • Component Inspection:

Regularly inspect all components for wear and tear, including axles, driveshafts, and suspension parts. Replace any damaged parts promptly to maintain performance and prevent further damage. Replacement parts may be available from the manufacturer or authorized retailers.

  • Battery Care:

Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Follow charging instructions carefully. Do not overcharge or completely discharge batteries. If the vehicle will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries.

Troubleshooting

  • Vehicle Tipping Over (Top-Heavy):

The H12Y is designed as a crawler, which can sometimes be top-heavy, especially on very steep terrain or during sharp turns at high speeds. To mitigate this, adjust your driving style, reduce speed on turns, and consider adding metal wheels or weights (not included) to lower the center of gravity for improved stability on steep climbs.

  • Axle/Component Breakage:

While the vehicle features many metal components, extreme impacts or prolonged stress can lead to breakage. If an axle or other part breaks, identify the specific component and order a replacement from the manufacturer or an authorized dealer. Ensure proper installation of replacement parts.

  • Transmitter Responsiveness:

If the transmitter feels unresponsive or "twitchy," especially at full speed, adjust the steering dual rate (ST.D/R) knob to reduce the maximum steering angle. This can provide more precise control and reduce twitchiness. Ensure the servo/motor synchronization procedure has been correctly performed.
