Setup

1. Unpack the Ice Maker: Carefully remove all packaging materials. Check for any damage during transit.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker, including the water tank and ice basket, with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
3. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space around the unit for proper ventilation.
4. Add Water: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
5. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (115 Volts).

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the ice maker. The indicator light will illuminate.
2. Select Ice Size: If your model supports it, press the "SELECT" button (or similar) to choose between small or large ice cube sizes. The corresponding indicator light will show your selection.
3. Ice Production: The ice maker will begin the ice-making cycle. The first batch of ice typically takes 6-8 minutes. Subsequent cycles may be faster.
4. Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the "ICE FULL" indicator light will turn on, and the ice maker will automatically pause production. Remove ice from the basket to resume operation.
5. Add Water Indicator: If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the "ADD WATER" indicator light will turn on, and the ice maker will stop. Add more potable water to the reservoir to continue.
6. Power Off: Press the ON/OFF button again to turn off the ice maker.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance are essential to ensure the longevity and hygienic operation of your DUMOS ice maker.

Self-Cleaning Function

The ice maker features a convenient self-cleaning function:

1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
2. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds to activate the self-cleaning mode.
3. The cleaning cycle will run for approximately 15 minutes.
4. Once the cycle is complete, drain the water from the reservoir by removing the drain plug (usually located at the bottom or side of the unit).
5. Rinse the interior with fresh water and drain again.

Regular Cleaning

• Always unplug the ice maker before cleaning.
• Remove the ice basket and wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

• For the interior, use a diluted solution of vinegar and water or a mild descaling agent to clean the water tank and ice-making components. Rinse thoroughly with clean water multiple times to remove any residue.
