Setup Instructions

The CallToU Caregiver Pager System is designed for easy, plug-and-play setup. Components are pre-paired at the factory, eliminating the need for manual pairing during initial setup.

1. Receiver Placement

  1. Plug each receiver into a standard electrical outlet in areas where the caregiver needs to be alerted, such as a bedroom, kitchen, or living area. Ensure the outlet is easily accessible and not obstructed.
  2. The receiver will light up and emit a sound to indicate it is powered on and ready.

2. Call Button Installation

The call buttons offer flexible placement options:

Operating Instructions

1. Activating an Alert

To send an alert, simply press the large button on the round call button or the 'SOS' button on the watch call button. The button will send a wireless signal to the paired receivers.

2. Receiver Functions

The receiver provides both audible and visual alerts. It features:

3. Wireless Range

The system offers an extensive wireless range:

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Wipe the receivers and call buttons with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure devices are dry before plugging in or using.

2. Battery Replacement

The call buttons are powered by AAA batteries (included). When the battery in a call button is low, the watch button features a low battery reminder. Replace batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

3. Water Resistance

Both the call buttons and receivers are designed to be waterproof and dustproof (IP55/IP66 rating, depending on component). This allows for installation in washrooms or use in environments where they might get wet, without affecting functionality.

Troubleshooting

Pairing Instructions (If needed)

While units are pre-paired, if you need to pair a new button or re-pair an existing one, follow these steps:

  1. Select Ringtone: On the receiver, press the 'Forward' or 'Backward' button to choose your desired melody.
  2. Enter Pairing Mode: Hold the 'Volume Control' button on the receiver until the LED flashes and you hear a "ding" sound.
  3. Activate Call Button: Quickly press the call button (round or watch button). You will hear a "ding ding" from the receiver, and its LED will flash.
  4. Confirm Pairing: Press the call button again. If the receiver plays the selected ringtone, the pairing is complete.
