Introduction

The Bnlei Smart Air Tracker Tag is a compact and efficient device designed to help you locate your valuable items using the Apple "Find My" app. This tracker is exclusively compatible with iOS devices (version 14.6 or later) and does not support Android systems. It allows you to track items on a map, play a sound to find nearby objects, and activate a lost mode for enhanced security.

Setup and Pairing

Follow these steps to connect your Bnlei Smart Air Tracker Tag to your Apple device:

1. Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is activated on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
2. Open Find My App: Launch the "Find My" app on your iOS device.
3. Add Item: Navigate to the "Items" tab and tap the "+" icon to add a new item. Select "Add Other Item".
4. Activate Tracker: Press and hold the button on your Bnlei Smart Air Tracker Tag for 2 seconds until you hear a "Di" sound.
5. Connect: Hold the tracker near your iPhone. The app will detect a "DropTag" or similar device. Tap "Connect".
6. Name and Register: Follow the on-screen prompts to name your tracker and register it to your Apple ID.

Operating Instructions

Finding Nearby Items

If your item is within Bluetooth range, you can make the tracker play a sound to help you locate it.

1. Open the "Find My" app.
2. Select the item you wish to locate.
3. Tap "Play Sound". The tracker will emit a loud alarm (up to 100 dB) to guide you to its location.

Finding Far Away Items

If your item is out of Bluetooth range, the Apple "Find My" network can help you locate it globally.

1. Open the "Find My" app.
2. Select the item you wish to locate.
3. Tap "Directions" to get turn-by-turn directions to your item's last known location or its current location if it's detected by another iOS device in the network.

Activating Lost Mode

If your item is lost, you can activate Lost Mode to receive notifications when it's found and display a message with your contact information to anyone who finds it.

1. In the "Find My" app, select your lost item.
2. Scroll down and tap "Activate" under "Lost Mode".
3. Follow the instructions to enter a phone number or email address where you can be reached.

Sharing Your Tracker

With iOS 17 or later, you can share your Bnlei Smart Air Tracker Tag with up to 5 other individuals, allowing them to view the item's location in their "Find My" app.

1. Open the "Find My" app and select the item you wish to share.
2. Scroll down and tap "Share This Item".
3. Select the contacts you want to share with. They will receive an invitation to track the item.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

The Bnlei Smart Air Tracker Tag uses a standard CR2032 coin cell battery, which provides approximately 9-12 months of standby time. When the battery is low, the "Find My" app will notify you. To replace the battery:

1. Open the Tracker: Hold the Bnlei Tag horizontally. Locate the rectangular notch on the side. Insert your fingernail into the notch and gently pry open the shiny cover.
2. Insert New Battery: Remove the old battery. Place the new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing upwards into the compartment.
3. Close the Tracker: Align the cover and press it firmly until it clicks securely into place.

Cleaning

Wipe the tracker with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Troubleshooting

• Tracker not connecting or showing incorrect location:
  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS device.
  • Check if the tracker's battery needs replacement.
  • Make sure your iOS device is running version 14.6 or later.
  • The accuracy of location updates depends on the proximity of other iOS devices in the Find My network. In areas with fewer iOS devices, updates may be less frequent.
  • Try resetting the tracker by removing and reinserting the battery, then attempt to pair again.
• Sound alarm is not loud enough:
  • Ensure there are no obstructions covering the tracker's speaker.
  • The maximum volume is 100 dB, which may vary based on environmental noise.
• Tracker falls out of silicone holder:
  • Ensure the tracker is securely seated within the silicone case.
  • Periodically check the fit of the silicone holder, especially after prolonged use or exposure to varying temperatures.
