5. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Clean: Wash the transparent lid, egg stand, steaming trays, and measuring cup with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth.
  3. Placement: Place the main unit on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance.

6. Operation

6.1 Cooking Eggs

  1. Pierce Eggs: Use the pin at the bottom of the measuring cup to gently pierce the larger end of each egg. This prevents cracking during cooking.
  2. Add Water: Fill the measuring cup with water according to the desired egg consistency and number of eggs. Refer to the markings on the measuring cup for guidance (e.g., for very soft-boiled, medium-boiled, hard-boiled). Pour the water onto the heating plate of the main unit.
  3. Place Eggs: Place the egg stand on the heating plate, then carefully place the pierced eggs onto the egg stand.
  4. Cover: Place the transparent lid securely on top of the unit.
  5. Start Cooking: Plug in the appliance. Press the power button (left button for buzzer notification, right button for automatic keep-warm after cooking). The indicator light will illuminate.
  6. Completion: The appliance will automatically turn off and sound a buzzer when cooking is complete (if left button was pressed). If the right button was pressed, it will automatically switch to keep-warm mode without a buzzer.
  7. Cool Down: For easier peeling of hard-boiled eggs, immediately transfer them to cold water after cooking.

  4. Start Steaming: Plug in the appliance and press the power button.
  5. Monitor: Steaming times vary depending on the food type and quantity. Monitor the food until it reaches desired doneness. Approximate steaming times:
    • Boiled Eggs: Approx. 15 minutes
    • Dumplings: Approx. 15 minutes
    • Fish: Approx. 8 minutes
    • Broccoli/Pumpkin: Approx. 15 minutes
    • Hot Milk: Approx. 5 minutes
  6. Completion: Unplug the appliance once steaming is complete.

6.3 Keep Warm Function

After cooking, you can use the keep-warm function to maintain the temperature of your food.

  1. If you pressed the right button to start cooking, the unit will automatically enter keep-warm mode after cooking is complete.
  2. If you pressed the left button, you can manually press the "Keep Warm" button after cooking to activate this function.
  3. Note: The keep-warm function is designed to gently slow down temperature decrease and does not consistently maintain a temperature of 100°C. It can keep food warm at approximately 60°C for up to 3 hours (actual measurement).

7. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your appliance.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Wash Removable Parts: The transparent lid, egg stand, and steaming trays can be washed with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. These parts are generally dishwasher-safe, but hand washing is recommended for longevity.
  3. Clean Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
  4. Remove Mineral Deposits: If mineral deposits (limescale) accumulate on the heating plate, fill the heating plate with a mixture of water and vinegar (1:1 ratio) and let it soak for 15-30 minutes. Then, gently scrub with a non-abrasive sponge and rinse. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  5. Storage: Store the clean and dry appliance in a cool, dry place.

8. Troubleshooting
