Mounting the Speakers

The MZ-632 speakers are designed for wall-mounting and come with a complete mounting kit. Choose a suitable location that provides optimal sound dispersion and is within reach of a power outlet.

  1. Select Location: Identify a sturdy wall or surface for mounting. Ensure the location is clear of obstructions and allows for the desired sound coverage. The speakers are IPX5 waterproof, suitable for outdoor environments like patios, porches, gazebos, or garages.
  2. Mark Drilling Points: Use the speaker's mounting bracket as a template to mark the drilling points on the wall.
  3. Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked points. Insert wall anchors if mounting into drywall or masonry.
  4. Secure Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  5. Attach Speaker: Slide the speaker onto the mounted bracket and secure it with the locking mechanism or screws as per the bracket design. Adjust the angle for optimal sound direction.

Power Connection

Each speaker requires a separate power adapter. Connect the provided corded adapter to the speaker's power input and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet. The built-in power cable is approximately 6.7 feet (2 meters) long, allowing for flexible placement.

Operating Instructions

Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Power On: Ensure both speakers are powered on. The primary speaker (the one you will connect your device to) will enter Bluetooth pairing mode automatically.
  2. Activate Bluetooth: On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth.
  3. Select Speaker: Search for "MZ-632" in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to pair. Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation.

Wireless Multi-Speaker Sync (PlyeeLink Technology)

The MZ-632 speakers feature PlyeeLink technology, allowing you to wirelessly sync up to 100 speakers for a larger, unified sound system. This system is compatible with other MZ-632 and MZ-621 speakers. Note: It is not compatible with MZ-511 speakers.

  1. Connect Primary Speaker: First, pair your audio source device (e.g., smartphone) to one MZ-632 speaker via Bluetooth. This will be your primary speaker.
  2. Power On Additional Speakers: Power on any additional MZ-632 or MZ-621 speakers you wish to sync. They will automatically search for a primary speaker.
  3. Automatic Sync: The additional speakers will automatically detect and sync with the primary speaker, creating a multi-speaker audio environment. You will hear a confirmation tone when they are successfully synced.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Plyee Audio MZ-632 speakers, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the speaker surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish or internal components.
  • Water Exposure: While the speakers are IPX5 waterproof, meaning they are protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction, avoid submerging them in water or exposing them to high-pressure water streams. Ensure the power connection is secure and dry before use.
  • Storage: If storing the speakers for an extended period, especially during extreme weather conditions, disconnect them from power and store them in a cool, dry place.
  • Cable Management: Periodically inspect power cables for any signs of wear, fraying, or damage. Replace damaged cables immediately to prevent electrical hazards.
