5. Setup

5.1 Adjusting the Earmuffs

The earmuffs feature an adjustable headband. Gently slide the ear cups up or down along the metal wires to achieve a comfortable and secure fit over your ears. Ensure the ear cushions fully seal around your ears for optimal noise protection.

5.2 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the earmuffs. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the charging port on one of the ear cups and the other end to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). 6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button (center button on the ear cup) for approximately 3 seconds to power the earmuffs on or off. A voice prompt will confirm the action.

6.2 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the earmuffs are powered off.
  2. Press and hold the power button until the LED indicator flashes blue and red, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for "PROTEAR E6850" (or similar model name).
  4. Select the earmuffs from the list of available devices to connect. The LED will turn solid blue once paired.

6.3 Audio Playback and Call Control

The control buttons are located on the right ear cup:

  • Power Button (Center): Press once to Play/Pause audio. Press once to Answer/End calls. Press and hold to Power On/Off.
  • Volume Up (Top Arrow): Press to increase volume.
  • Volume Down (Bottom Arrow): Press to decrease volume.
  • Next Track (Right Arrow): Press to skip to the next track.
  • Previous Track (Left Arrow): Press to restart the current track or go to the previous track.

6.4 Using the Auxiliary Input

For non-Bluetooth devices, use the provided 3.5mm auxiliary audio cable. Plug one end into the AUX port on the earmuffs and the other end into your audio device. Bluetooth functionality will be disabled when the AUX cable is connected.
