1. Introduction

2. Setup
2.1 Power Source
The calculator operates on a dual power system: solar power and a CR5 button battery. The solar panel provides power in well-lit environments, extending battery life. The CR5 battery is included and pre-installed.
2.2 Initial Use
- Remove the protective film from the display, if present.
- Press the ON button to power on the calculator.
- The calculator will display "0" on the main screen.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Basic Operations
- Power On/Off: Press ON to turn on. Press SHIFT then AC (OFF) to turn off.
- Clear Entry: Press DEL to delete the last entered digit. Press AC to clear all entries and reset the calculation.
- 2-Line Display: The top line shows the input expression, and the bottom line displays the calculated result.
3.2 Calculation Modes
Press the MODE button to cycle through different calculation modes. The available modes include:
- COMP (General Calculations): Standard arithmetic operations.
- CMPLX (Complex Numbers): Calculations involving complex numbers.
- STAT (Statistics): Statistical calculations including standard deviation and regression.
- BASE-N: Base-n calculations (binary, octal, decimal, hexadecimal).
- Equation: Solving various types of equations.
- Matrix: Matrix calculations.
- TABLE: Generating number tables from functions.
- VECTOR: Vector calculations.
3.3 Advanced Functions (401 Functions)
The calculator supports a wide range of scientific functions. Many functions are accessed by pressing the SHIFT key followed by the desired function key (indicated in yellow above the keys) or the ALPHA key (indicated in red above the keys).
- Fractions: Input fractions using the a b/c key.
- Trigonometric Functions: sin, cos, tan and their inverse functions.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
To clean the calculator, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water and wipe gently. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the calculator's surface and display.
4.2 Dust Protection
The calculator comes with a dustproof cover. When not in use, cover the calculator to protect it from dust and debris. The cover can be attached to the back of the calculator during use for convenience.

4.3 Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or calculations are erratic, it may be time to replace the CR5 button battery.
- Turn off the calculator.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the calculator.
- Use a small screwdriver to open the compartment.
- Carefully remove the old CR5 battery and insert a new one, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment securely.
5. Troubleshooting
