4.1 Mounting the Lights

1. Attach the bottom mount brackets to the LED pods using the provided screws and washers. Ensure the spring washer is placed first, followed by the regular washer, then the bolt.
2. Mount the assembled LED pods to your desired location on the vehicle, such as the hood or bumper, using appropriate hardware. Ensure a secure fit.

4.2 Wiring the Lights

The HALO Series LED Pod Lights come with a pre-designed wire harness featuring four ports for easy connection.

1. Connect the positive (red) and negative (black) terminals of the wire harness to the vehicle's battery.
2. Connect the Y-splitter socket from the wire harness to the LED pods.
3. Connect the provided switch to the wire harness.
4. For synchronization with vehicle headlights or DRLs, connect the yellow line (for DRL sync) and/or green line (for headlight sync) from the synchronization wire to the corresponding vehicle electrical system wires.

5. Operation

5.1 Using the Controller

The included metal controller allows you to switch between different lighting modes:

• Main Light (Spot/Flood Combo): Activates the primary white illumination for maximum brightness and coverage.
• Daytime Running Light (DRL): Toggle between yellow and white DRL modes to suit your preference or driving conditions.
• Main Light + DRL: Activates both the main light and the DRL simultaneously.

5.2 Using Light Covers

The LED pods come with two types of covers:

• Amber Covers: Enhance visibility in rainy or foggy weather by changing the light color.
• Black Covers: Prevent accidental switch activation in urban areas and may be required by local regulations when auxiliary lights are not in use.

6. Maintenance

• Regularly inspect the lights and wiring for any signs of damage or loose connections.
• Clean the lens and housing with a soft cloth and mild soap solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the lens.
• Due to the IP68 waterproof rating, the lights are designed to withstand water and dust ingress, but proper sealing of connections is crucial during installation.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Lights Not Turning On

• Check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and correctly polarized (positive to positive, negative to negative).
• Verify that the vehicle's battery has sufficient charge.
• Inspect the fuse in the wiring harness for any breaks. Replace if necessary.
• Ensure the switch is functioning correctly.

7.2 Lights Flickering or Dim

• Check for loose connections in the wiring harness or at the battery terminals.
• Ensure the vehicle's electrical system is providing stable voltage (10-30V DC).
• Inspect for any damage to the wiring insulation.

7.3 Water Inside the Lens

• While the product is IP68 rated, extreme conditions or improper installation can sometimes lead to moisture. Inspect the seals around the lens and housing for any damage.
• Ensure all plugs and connectors are fully seated and sealed.
