Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your treadmill.

Cleaning

  • Daily: Wipe down the console and other surfaces with a soft, damp cloth after each use to remove sweat and dust.
  • Weekly: Vacuum under the treadmill to prevent dust and debris from accumulating.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Lubrication

The running belt requires periodic lubrication to reduce friction and extend its lifespan. Use only the provided lubricant or a silicone-based treadmill lubricant.

Treadmill Lubrication Process

Image: Diagram illustrating the process of applying lubricating oil to the treadmill belt, showing where to apply it for smooth operation.

  1. Frequency: Lubricate every 3 months or after 50 hours of use, whichever comes first.
  2. Procedure: Unplug the treadmill. Lift the edge of the running belt and apply a small amount of lubricant directly onto the center of the deck, under the belt. Repeat on the other side.
  3. Spread: Plug in the treadmill and walk on it at a low speed (e.g., 1-2 mph) for 5 minutes to evenly distribute the lubricant.

Running Belt Adjustment

If the running belt drifts to one side or slips, it may need adjustment. Use the L-shaped wrench provided.

Adjustable Running Belt Mechanism

Image: Close-up view of the treadmill's rear roller adjustment screws, with an L-shaped wrench, demonstrating how to adjust the running belt for proper alignment.

  • Belt Drifts Right: Turn the right adjustment screw clockwise or the left adjustment screw counter-clockwise in small increments (1/4 turn).
  • Belt Drifts Left: Turn the left adjustment screw clockwise or the right adjustment screw counter-clockwise in small increments (1/4 turn).
  • Belt Slipping: Turn both adjustment screws clockwise in small increments to tighten the belt.
  • After each adjustment, run the treadmill for a few minutes to check alignment.
