Installation

Pre-installation Checklist:

Neutral Wire: Confirm your electrical box has a neutral wire (usually white). This switch requires a neutral wire.

Fan Type: Compatible with 1.5A Max Ceiling Fans. Not compatible with exhaust fans, DC motor fans, or ceiling fans with built-in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or remote controls.
Bulb Type: Compatible with Dimmable LED (150W Max), Dimmable CFL (150W Max), and Halogen/Incandescent (400W Max). Not compatible with smart bulbs.
Wiring: Ensure distinct wires are designated for 'Light Load' and 'Fan Load'. If your wall box only has one 'Load' wire for both, separate electronic control is not possible.

Step-by-Step Installation:

Turn Off Power: Locate your circuit breaker and turn off the power to the switch you are replacing. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
