4. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for accurate measurements and safe operation. Refer to the Quick Guide for detailed wiring diagrams specific to your model (KM105F, KM110F, KM140F, KM160F).

4.1 Components Overview

4.2 Wiring the Sampler

  1. Connect the battery's negative terminal to the 'B-' terminal on the sampler.
  2. Connect the load's negative terminal (or charger's negative terminal) to the 'L-' terminal on the sampler.
  3. Connect the positive terminal of the battery to the 'B+' terminal on the sampler (if applicable, refer to specific model wiring).
  4. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated. The pure copper shunt is integrated into the sampler for current measurement.

4.3 Connecting the Display Unit

Use the provided 5m communication cable to connect the sampler to the display unit. Ensure the connectors are fully seated.

4.4 Initial Power-On

Once all wiring is complete, power on your battery system. The display unit should illuminate and begin showing real-time data.

5. Operating Instructions

The KM160F display provides a clear overview of your battery's status. The buttons on the display allow for basic navigation and settings adjustments.

5.1 Display Interpretation

  • Voltage (V): Current battery voltage.
  • Current (A): Current charge (+) or discharge (-) current.
  • Power (W): Real-time power consumption or generation.
  • Capacity Percentage (%): Remaining battery capacity as a percentage.
  • Estimated Time: Estimated time remaining for charge or discharge.
  • Ah: Accumulated Ampere-hours.

5.2 Button Functions

  • SET Button: Enters the settings menu or confirms a selection.
  • Up/Down Arrows: Navigates through menu options or adjusts values.
  • OK Button: Confirms a selection or exits a menu.

6. Mobile App Control

6.1 App Installation and Connection

  1. Download the 'Junce Home' app from your device's app store.
  2. Ensure your KM160F display unit is powered on and within range of your WiFi network.
  3. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your KM160F device to the app via WiFi.

6.2 App Features

  • Comprehensive Data View: Access real-time battery voltage, charge/discharge current, power, remaining capacity, and estimated time.

7. Maintenance

  • Keep the display unit and sampler clean and free from dust and moisture. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.

  • App Connection Issues: Confirm that the KM160F is powered on and its WiFi function is active. Check your mobile device's WiFi settings and ensure it's connected to the correct network. Restart both the device and the app if issues persist.
  • Protection Triggered: If an over-voltage, under-voltage, or over-current protection is triggered, the device may shut down or alert. Review your battery parameters and load conditions. Adjust protection settings via the app if necessary, ensuring they are appropriate for your battery type.
