  4. Slide the new wiper blade onto the hook until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is fully seated and locked.

Operating Instructions

Once installed, these wiper blades operate automatically with your vehicle's existing wiper system. Activate your vehicle's windshield wipers as needed for rain, snow, or to clear debris from the windshield. Ensure your windshield washer fluid reservoir is adequately filled for optimal cleaning performance.

Maintenance

  • Regular Cleaning: Periodically clean the rubber blade edges with a soft cloth and windshield washer fluid or mild soap and water to remove dirt, grime, and road film. This helps maintain streak-free wiping.
  • Inspect Blades: Regularly inspect the wiper blades for any signs of wear, cracks, tears, or hardening of the rubber. Replace blades if they show signs of damage or reduced performance (e.g., streaking, chattering, skipping).
  • Clear Debris: Before using wipers, ensure no large debris (leaves, ice, heavy snow) is on the windshield that could damage the blades.
  • Avoid Dry Wiping: Do not operate wipers on a dry windshield as this can prematurely wear out the blades and potentially scratch the glass. Always use with water or windshield washer fluid.
  • Winter Care: In freezing conditions, lift the wiper arms off the windshield when parking to prevent the blades from freezing to the glass. Clear any ice or snow from the blades before use.
