Setup Instructions

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Inspect each piece of luggage for any signs of damage. Ensure all components, including the 20", 24", and 28" suitcases, the luggage bag, and the toiletry bag, are present.

2. Setting the TSA Combination Lock

Your Merax luggage is equipped with a TSA-approved 3-digit combination lock. The initial password is set to 0-0-0.

1. Locate the reset button on the lock. For 24/28 inch suitcases, this is a small button. For the 20-inch suitcase, the reset button is integrated into the switch.
2. With the lock set to 0-0-0, use a pen or a pointed object to press and hold the reset button.
3. While holding the reset button, set your desired 3-digit combination by turning the dials.
4. Release the reset button. Your new password is now set. Remember your combination.

Operating Instructions

1. Telescopic Handle Operation

The luggage features a sturdy, adjustable telescopic handle. Press the button on the handle grip and pull up to extend it. Release the button to lock it at your desired height. Push the button and push down to retract the handle completely.

2. Spinner Wheels

Each suitcase is equipped with durable 360° spinner wheels for effortless maneuverability. These wheels allow the luggage to glide smoothly in any direction, reducing strain during travel.

3. 20-inch Carry-On Specific Features

• Front Open Compartment: The 20-inch carry-on features a convenient front-open compartment, ideal for quick access to laptops, tablets, or travel documents. To open, push the security lock buckle outwards.

5. Using the Luggage Bag and Toiletry Bag

The included luggage bag and toiletry bag are designed for organizing personal items. The luggage bag features a rear pocket that slides over the suitcase handle, allowing for secure attachment and easier transport.

Maintenance

• Cleaning Hardshell Exterior: Wipe the ABS hardshell surface with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
• Cleaning Fabric Bags: For the luggage bag and toiletry bag, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Air dry thoroughly. Do not machine wash.
• Wheel Care: Periodically check the spinner wheels for debris. Remove any hair or lint that may hinder smooth rolling.
• Zipper Maintenance: Keep zippers clean and free of obstructions. If a zipper becomes stiff, apply a small amount of zipper lubricant or wax.

Troubleshooting

Problem: Cannot open the TSA combination lock.

Solution: Ensure the dials are set to the correct 3-digit combination. If you forgot your combination, follow the "Setting the TSA Combination Lock" instructions to reset it. The initial factory setting is 0-0-0.

Problem: Telescopic handle is stuck or difficult to extend/retract.

Solution: Ensure the button on the handle grip is fully pressed. Check for any obstructions in the handle mechanism. Avoid forcing the handle; gently wiggle it while pressing the button.

Problem: Spinner wheels are not rolling smoothly.

Problem: USB charging port is not working.
