1. Product Overview

The WAYXIN R6S is a motorcycle Bluetooth intercom system designed for enhanced communication and entertainment during rides. It supports group communication, music playback, voice assistant integration, and call management, all while providing robust noise cancellation and weather resistance.

2. Safety Information

• Always prioritize road safety. Do not operate the device in a manner that distracts you from riding.
• Ensure the device is securely mounted to your helmet before riding.
• Adjust volume to a safe level that allows you to hear ambient traffic sounds.
• Keep the device away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device, as this may void the warranty and pose safety risks.

4. Setup

4.1 Helmet Installation

The R6S intercom can be installed on most motorcycle helmets using either the adhesive mount or the clip mount.

1. Choose a suitable location on the left side of your helmet for the intercom unit.
2. If using the clip mount, slide the metal clip between the helmet shell and the inner padding. Secure it firmly.
3. If using the adhesive mount, clean the helmet surface thoroughly and attach the adhesive base. Press firmly for 30 seconds and allow 24 hours for the adhesive to cure before use.
4. Slide the R6S intercom unit onto the installed mounting base until it clicks into place.

4.2 Speaker and Microphone Installation

Proper placement of speakers and microphone is crucial for optimal audio quality and noise cancellation.

1. Remove the helmet's inner padding to access the ear pockets.
2. Attach the Velcro pads to the back of the speakers.
3. Place the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets, ensuring they are centered over your ears when wearing the helmet. Adjust their position until the sound is clear and comfortable.
4. Select the appropriate microphone for your helmet type (boom mic for open-face, soft-wire mic for full-face).
5. Attach the microphone to the inside of the helmet, positioning it close to your mouth but slightly to the side to avoid direct breath. Secure the microphone cable along the helmet's edge.
6. Connect the speaker and microphone cables to the intercom unit.
7. Reinstall the helmet's inner padding.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off.

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

The R6S supports simultaneous connection with two Bluetooth devices (e.g., smartphone and GPS).

1. With the device powered off, press and hold the Power button for about 5 seconds until the red and blue lights flash alternately, indicating pairing mode.
2. On your smartphone or other Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and search for "WAYXIN R6S".
3. Select "WAYXIN R6S" to connect. Once connected, the blue light will flash slowly.

5.3 Intercom Communication

The R6S supports communication for up to 6 riders, with 2 riders communicating bidirectionally at any given time, up to 1200 meters range.

• Pairing with another R6S: Follow the Bluetooth pairing steps for both devices. Once in pairing mode, they should automatically detect and connect to each other.
• Initiating Intercom: After successful pairing, a short press of the Intercom button will initiate communication.
• Ending Intercom: A short press of the Intercom button will end the communication.
• Automatic Reconnection: If you move out of range, the device will automatically attempt to reconnect when back in range.

5.4 Music Playback

• Play/Pause: Short press the Power button.
• Next Track: Short press the Volume + button.
• Previous Track: Short press the Volume - button.
• Volume Up: Long press the Volume + button.
• Volume Down: Long press the Volume - button.

5.5 Voice Assistant & Call Management

• Activate Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant): Double-press the Phone button.
• Answer Call: Short press the Phone button.
• End Call: Short press the Phone button.
• Reject Call: Long press the Phone button.
• Automatic Answer: The device will automatically answer incoming calls after 10 seconds.

6. Noise Cancellation (DSP/CVC)

The WAYXIN R6S integrates DSP and CVC noise reduction technologies to filter out ambient noise, ensuring clear communication even at high speeds or in noisy environments. The system automatically adjusts to recognize city or highway noise levels.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the intercom unit. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Charging: Charge the device using the provided USB-C cable. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
• Battery Life: The 800mAh battery provides up to 15 hours of music playback, 10 hours of continuous calls, and 360 hours of standby time.
• Water Resistance: The device is IP67 waterproof. Ensure all ports are properly sealed before exposure to water.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.

8. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try turning it on again.
• Cannot Pair: Make sure the device is in pairing mode (red and blue lights flashing alternately). Check your phone's Bluetooth settings.
• Poor Audio Quality: Verify speaker placement is directly over your ears. Check microphone position. Ensure no obstructions are blocking the microphone.
• Intercom Disconnects Frequently: Ensure devices are within the 1200-meter range. Automatic reconnection should occur when back in range.
• Voice Assistant Not Responding: Ensure your phone's voice assistant is enabled and the device is properly paired.
