Setup

  1. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the scanner's power input and plug it into a wall outlet.
  2. Insert SD Card (Optional): If you wish to save images to an SD card, insert it into the SD card slot on the side of the scanner. Ensure it is inserted correctly until it clicks into place.

  3. Power On: Press the Power button (red button) on the top of the scanner to turn it on. The LCD display will illuminate.

Operating Instructions

1. Preparing Film/Slides

Select the appropriate film or slide holder for your media type (135, 126 KPK, 110 negative, or Super 8 slide). Carefully insert your film or slide into the holder. Ensure the film/slide is clean and free of dust or fingerprints.

2. Inserting Film/Slide Holder

Gently slide the loaded holder into the scanner's film slot. The scanner is designed for easy loading to ensure efficient scanning.

3. Scanning and Editing

  1. Select Film Type: On the scanner's display, navigate to select the correct film or slide type.
  2. Set Resolution: Choose your desired scanning resolution (14 MP or 22 MP).
  3. Preview: The image from your film/slide will appear on the 5-inch LCD.
  4. Adjust Image: Use the control buttons to perform real-time adjustments:
    • Brightness/Exposure: Adjust the light level.
    • RGB: Fine-tune red, green, and blue color channels.
    • Mirroring/Flip: Correct image orientation if needed.
    • Zoom: Magnify the image for detailed inspection.
  5. Capture: Once satisfied with the preview, press the "OK/Photograph" button to capture the image. The image will be saved to the internal memory or the inserted SD card.

Connectivity

Connecting to a Computer (USB)

After scanning and saving your photos, you can connect the scanner to your computer using the provided USB Type-C cable to transfer or copy the images.

  1. Ensure the scanner is powered on.
  2. Connect one end of the USB Type-C cable to the scanner and the other end to a USB port on your computer.
  3. The scanner will appear as a removable storage device on your computer. You can then access and transfer your scanned JPEG images.

Connecting to a TV (HDMI)

You can view your scanned images on a larger screen by connecting the scanner to a TV using the provided HDMI cable.

  1. Ensure the scanner is powered on.
  2. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the scanner's HDMI output and the other end to an HDMI input on your TV.
  3. Select the correct HDMI input source on your TV to display the scanner's output.

Troubleshooting
