1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your GplatHabse Red Dot Sight Mount Plate. This metal mounting plate is designed to securely attach various red dot optics to specific HK pistol models, enhancing target acquisition capabilities.

4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps carefully to install the mount plate and your red dot sight.

1. Prepare Firearm: Ensure the firearm is unloaded and safe. Remove the magazine and visually and physically inspect the chamber to confirm it is empty.
2. Remove Rear Sight: Carefully remove the existing rear sight from your HK pistol. This typically involves drifting it out of its dovetail slot using a sight pusher tool or a brass punch and hammer. Refer to your pistol's specific manual for detailed instructions on rear sight removal.
3. Install Mount Plate: Slide the GplatHabse mount plate into the rear sight dovetail slot. Ensure it sits flush and securely. The plate is designed to fit precisely into the dovetail. Note: Some HK45 Compact Tactical models may have a slide rib that interferes with the plate. Verify compatibility with your specific model before installation.

4. Secure Mount Plate: Use the provided screws to secure the mount plate to the slide. Tighten screws evenly and firmly, but do not overtighten, as this can strip threads or damage components.
5. Attach Red Dot Sight: Place your compatible red dot sight onto the GplatHabse mount plate. Use the appropriate screws provided with the mount plate or your red dot sight to attach the optic. Ensure the optic is oriented correctly and tightened securely according to the optic manufacturer's specifications.
6. Function Check: After installation, perform a function check of your firearm to ensure all safeties and mechanisms operate correctly.
7. Zero Optic: Take your firearm to a safe shooting range and zero your red dot sight according to its manufacturer's instructions.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed and zeroed, the GplatHabse Red Dot Sight Mount Plate provides a stable platform for your optic. Operation of the red dot sight itself will follow the manufacturer's instructions for that specific optic. Always ensure the optic is securely attached before use.

• Cleaning: Wipe the mount plate with a clean, dry cloth after each use to remove dirt, debris, and moisture. For stubborn grime, a lightly oiled cloth can be used, followed by a dry wipe.
• Inspection: Periodically check all screws for tightness. Vibration from firing can loosen fasteners over time. Re-tighten as necessary, ensuring not to overtighten.
• Corrosion Prevention: The metal construction is durable, but prolonged exposure to moisture or harsh chemicals can cause corrosion. Store the firearm and mount in a dry environment.
