   • For Quick-Connect Fittings: Push the scratch-free tube end into the fitting until it bottoms out. Ensure a secure connection.
   • For Threaded Fittings (1/4" FNPT): Apply Teflon tape to the male threads of your connection lines. Screw the filter onto the threaded connections and tighten firmly by hand, then an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn with a wrench if necessary, being careful not to overtighten.
5. Restore Water Supply and Check for Leaks: Slowly turn on the water supply. Carefully inspect all connections for any signs of leaks. If leaks persist, discontinue use and contact customer support.
6. Flush the Filter: Flush approximately 4 gallons of water through the filter before initial use to remove any carbon fines or air.
