1. Introduction

2. Package Contents

3. Setup

3.1 Charging

Before first use, fully charge the transmitters and receiver using the provided charging case and USB-C to USB-A data cable. The charging case itself also needs to be charged. Indicator lights on the case will show charging status.

3.2 Connecting the Receiver

The receiver offers universal compatibility with USB-C and 3.5mm jack connections. Select the appropriate adapter (USB-C or 3.5mm TRS) and connect it to the receiver. Then, plug the receiver into your recording device (smartphone, camera, PC, tablet).

3.3 Pairing Transmitters

The transmitters and receiver are pre-paired at the factory. Simply take them out of the charging case, and they should automatically connect. If pairing is lost, refer to the troubleshooting section or the BOYA Central app for re-pairing instructions.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

The devices power on automatically when removed from the charging case and power off when placed back inside. You can also manually power them on/off by pressing and holding the power button on each unit.

4.2 AI Noise Cancellation

The BOYALINK 3 features AI-powered noise reduction with Low, Medium, and High modes. Double-press the RX button on the receiver to cycle through these modes. The BOYA Central app also allows for precise control over noise reduction levels.

4.3 Audio Quality

The system delivers 48kHz/24-bit studio-grade sound with a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz. Smart Automatic Gain Control (AGC) and distortion-limiting features ensure clear and professional recordings. The microphone has a Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) of 85 dB.

4.4 Multi-Device Support

The BOYALINK 3 supports pairing one transmitter with up to four receivers simultaneously, enabling multi-angle filming or live broadcasts across different devices. Additional receivers are sold separately.

4.5 BOYA Central App Control

Download the BOYA Central app to unlock advanced audio controls. The app allows you to adjust AI noise reduction levels, customize EQ modes (Podcast/Music/Live), sync multiple devices, perform firmware updates, and monitor audio with zero latency.

4.6 Real-Time Monitoring

Connect headphones to the receiver's 3.5mm jack for real-time audio monitoring. This allows you to hear crystal-clear, uncompressed audio with less than 10ms delay, ensuring optimal sound capture during recording.

4.7 Range and Battery Life

The system offers an ultra-stable transmission range of up to 984 feet (300 meters) in open spaces. Each microphone provides approximately 6 hours of runtime, extended to over 30 hours with the fully charged charging case. Mics can be fast-charged in 1.5 hours.

4.8 Compatibility

The BOYALINK 3 is universally compatible with devices featuring USB-C or 3.5mm inputs, including iPhone 15-16, Android smartphones, tablets, cameras, and PCs. No additional drivers or adapters are typically needed for basic functionality.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Wipe the devices with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents. Ensure the charging contacts are clean and free of debris.

5.2 Storage

Store the BOYALINK 3 system in its charging case when not in use to protect it and keep it charged. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

• No Sound/Low Volume: Ensure the receiver is correctly plugged into your device. Check the volume settings on both the microphone system (via app) and your recording device. Verify that transmitters are powered on and paired.
• Interference/Poor Signal: Ensure you are within the specified operating range (984ft/300m). Avoid obstacles that may block the signal. Check for other wireless devices operating on the same frequency (2.4GHz) that might cause interference.
• Pairing Issues: If devices do not automatically pair, ensure they are fully charged. Refer to the BOYA Central app for manual pairing options or consult the full user manual for detailed pairing procedures.
• Battery Not Charging: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the charging case and a power source. Check the power source. Clean the charging contacts on the transmitters, receiver, and case.
