Setup

1. Unboxing and Initial Charge

Upon opening the box, you will find the ELEHEAR-Beyond hearing aids, their charging case, a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, a cleaning kit, a size guide, and various ear domes/tips.

Before first use, ensure the charging case is fully charged using the provided USB-C cable. The LED indicators on the case will show the battery level.

2. Selecting the Right Ear Domes

The package includes multiple sizes and styles of ear domes (open domes, tulip domes, and double domes). Use the provided size guide to determine the best fit for your ears. A proper fit is crucial for comfort and optimal sound quality.

3. Wearing the Hearing Aids

The ELEHEAR-Beyond features a Receiver-in-the-Canal (RIC) design. The main unit rests behind your ear, and a thin wire extends over the ear, with the ear dome fitting into your ear canal. Ensure a snug and comfortable fit.

4. Initial Pairing with the App

Download the ELEHEAR smart app from your device's app store (iOS or Android). Once installed, open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your hearing aids. The hearing aids automatically turn on when removed from the charging case and are ready for pairing.

Operating

1. Automatic On/Off

The hearing aids automatically power on when removed from the charging case and power off when placed back into the case.

2. App Control

The ELEHEAR app provides comprehensive control over your hearing aids:

• Volume Adjustment: Independently adjust the volume for the left and right hearing aids, or control both simultaneously.
• Scene Modes: Switch between various tailored scene modes (e.g., General, Restaurant, Music) to optimize your listening experience for different environments.
• Speech Enhance: Activate the Speech Enhance feature to amplify voices and filter out ambient noise, improving clarity in conversations.
• Tuning: Fine-tune the sound profile to your preference, adjusting brightness and depth.
• Tinnitus Masking: Access 20 natural sounds to customize your masking sound for tinnitus relief.
• Remote Sound Capture: Focus on sounds from a distance, useful for watching TV or listening to speakers.
• AI Translation: Utilize the AI translation feature for real-time communication assistance.

3. Bluetooth Connectivity

The hearing aids are Bluetooth 5.3 enabled, allowing seamless connection to your smartphone or tablet for audio streaming, phone calls, and app control.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential to maintain the performance and longevity of your hearing aids. Use the provided cleaning kit, which includes a brush and picks, to remove any wax or debris from the ear domes and main unit.

2. Charging

Place the hearing aids in their charging case when not in use. The case provides up to 100 hours of total battery life (20 hours per single charge of the aids, plus 4 additional charges from the case). Charge the case using the USB-C cable when its LED indicators show low battery.

Troubleshooting

If you experience any issues with your ELEHEAR-Beyond hearing aids, please refer to the user manual for detailed troubleshooting steps. Common issues may include pairing problems, sound quality concerns, or battery life discrepancies.

A reset button is located on the charging case for resolving connectivity issues.
