1. Introduction

The Wurkkos TD07 is a high-performance tactical flashlight designed for reliability and versatility. 2. Safety Instructions

  • Do not shine the flashlight directly into eyes. The powerful beam can cause temporary vision impairment.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not disassemble the flashlight head or other components, as this may damage the light and void the warranty.
  • Avoid exposing the flashlight to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
  • Use only the recommended battery type and ensure correct polarity during installation.
  • The flashlight may become warm during extended use at high output levels. This is normal.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
  2. Insert the included 18350 Li-ion battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
  3. Screw the tail cap back on tightly to ensure proper contact and water resistance.

5.2 Attaching the Tactical Clip and Lanyard

  • The tactical clip can be attached to the body of the flashlight for secure carrying in a pocket or on gear.
  • Thread the lanyard through the hole in the tail cap for added security and to prevent accidental drops.

6. Operating Instructions

The TD07 features a unique rotary switch at the tail for mode selection and a tactical tail button for momentary and constant activation.

6.1 Rotary Switch Modes

Rotate the tail switch to select one of three main modes:

  • Tactical Mode: Designed for quick access to high output or defensive strobe.
  • Daily Mode: Provides access to multiple brightness levels for general use, with memory function.
  • Lock Mode: Prevents accidental activation, ideal for transport or storage.

6.2 Tactical Tail Button Operation

The tail button's function depends on the selected rotary switch mode:

In Tactical Mode:

  • Half-click: Activates Turbo Momentary (1300 Lumens). Release to turn off.
  • Full-click: Activates Strobe Momentary (1300 Lumens). Release to turn off.

In Daily Mode:

The flashlight has a memory function for frequently used brightness levels.

  • Single Click: Turns the flashlight ON/OFF. It will turn on in the last used brightness level (Moon, Low, Medium, High).
  • When ON: Press and hold the button to cycle through brightness levels: Moon (2LM) → Low (20LM) → Medium (240LM) → High (700LM). Release the button to select the desired level.
  • Double Click: Activates Turbo (1300LM). Double click again to return to the previous mode.
  • Triple Click: Activates Strobe. Triple click again to return to the previous mode.

In Lock Mode:

  • The tail button is disabled to prevent accidental activation.
  • To exit Lock Mode, rotate the switch to Tactical or Daily Mode.

7. Charging

The Wurkkos TD07 features a convenient USB-C charging port.

  1. Locate the hidden USB-C charging port on the flashlight body. It is usually covered by a rubber flap to maintain water resistance.
  2. Open the rubber flap and connect the provided USB-C cable to the port.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port).
  4. The indicator light will show charging status (see Section 8: Battery Status Indicator).
  5. Once charging is complete, disconnect the cable and securely close the rubber flap to maintain water resistance.

8. Battery Status Indicator

The TD07 features an LED indicator to show the battery status for 5 seconds after turning on, allowing you to quickly check the remaining power.

9. Maintenance

9.1 Cleaning

  • Clean the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth.
  • For stubborn dirt, use a mild soap solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives.
  • Keep the lens clean for optimal light output. Use a lens cleaning cloth if necessary.

9.2 O-Ring Lubrication

  • Regularly inspect the O-rings for wear and tear. Replace them with the provided spare O-rings if damaged.
  • Apply a thin layer of silicone grease to the O-rings to maintain water resistance and prevent wear.

9.3 Battery Care

  • If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent potential leakage.
  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
