4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your VERPAL Electric Wheelchair for first use:

1. Unfolding the Wheelchair:

   Carefully remove the wheelchair from its packaging. Grasp the frame and gently pull outwards until the wheelchair fully unfolds and locks into place. Ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged.

2. Attaching the Joystick Controller:

   Locate the joystick controller and its mounting bracket. Attach the controller to the desired armrest (typically the right side for most users) and secure it firmly. Connect the controller cable to the corresponding port on the wheelchair, ensuring a snug fit. You may need to connect red plugs together under the seat for power wires to the battery.

3. Initial Battery Charging:

   Before first use, fully charge the lithium battery. Connect the charger cable to the charging port on the joystick controller or directly to the battery. Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet. The indicator light on the charger will typically change from red to green when charging is complete. This initial charge may take several hours.

4. Seat Adjustment:

   Ensure the seat cushion is properly positioned and secured. Lock the seat so the chair will not fold up on you while sitting in the chair.

5. Operating Instructions

Operating your VERPAL Electric Wheelchair is intuitive with the 360° joystick controller.

1. Power On/Off:

   Press the power button on the joystick controller to turn the wheelchair on or off. The battery indicator lights will illuminate upon power-on.
2. Movement Control:

   Gently push the joystick in the desired direction: forward, backward, left, or right. The wheelchair will respond smoothly to your input. Release the joystick to return it to the center position; the electromagnetic brakes will automatically engage, bringing the wheelchair to a stop.

3. Speed Adjustment:

   Use the speed acceleration (+) and deceleration (-) buttons on the joystick to adjust the wheelchair's speed. Start at a low speed setting until you are comfortable with the controls.

4. Horn:

   Press the horn button to alert others of your presence.
5. Battery Display:

   Monitor the battery display lights on the joystick. Recharge the battery when the indicator shows low power to avoid unexpected power loss.

6. Navigating Terrains:

• Battery Care:
