Setup and Installation

1. Choosing a Location

Place the air conditioner on a flat, stable surface near a window and a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure there is at least 20 inches (50 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow.

2. Window Kit Installation

The included window sealing kit is designed for easy installation in both single/double-hung windows and sliding (gliding) windows, requiring no drilling.

  1. Assemble the window baffles to fit your window opening. The kit includes adjustable pieces to accommodate various window widths.
  2. Secure the assembled window kit in your window frame.
  3. Connect the heat pipe (exhaust hose) to the heat pipe joint and then to the duckbill type adapter.
  4. Insert the duckbill type adapter into the opening in the window sealing kit.
  5. Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the exhaust port on the back of the air conditioner unit. Ensure a secure fit to prevent air leakage.

3. Drainage Hose Connection (for Dehumidifying & Heating Modes)

While the unit features drainage-free cooling, for optimal performance in dehumidification and heating modes, it is recommended to connect the drain pipe.

  1. Locate the drainage holes on the back of the unit. There are two drainage holes.
  2. Connect the provided drain pipe to the appropriate drainage hole. Ensure the connection is secure.
  3. Direct the other end of the drain pipe into a suitable container or floor drain to collect condensed water.

Control Panel and Remote Control

Operating Modes

Press the MODE button to cycle through the available operating modes:

  • Cooling Mode: Provides powerful cooling for your room. Set your desired temperature between 61°F and 86°F (16°C and 30°C).
  • Heating Mode: Delivers warm air to heat your space.
  • Dehumidification Mode: Removes excess moisture from the air, ideal for humid environments.
  • Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling or heating. You can adjust the fan speed.

Temperature Setting

In Cooling or Heating mode, use the UP/DOWN arrows on the control panel or remote to adjust the desired temperature. The unit features a built-in temperature sensor for automatic adjustment and energy efficiency.

Fan Speed Adjustment

Cleaning the Filter Screen
