General Heat Transfer Process

  1. Prepare Item: Place the item (e.g., T-shirt, mug) on the appropriate platen or attachment. Ensure it is flat and free of wrinkles.
  2. Position Design: Place your transfer design (e.g., sublimation paper, HTV) onto the item in the desired location.
  3. Adjust Pressure: Use the pressure knob to adjust the pressure according to the material's thickness. A firm, even pressure is typically required.
  4. Initiate Press: Lower the heating plate using the rubber handle until it firmly presses against the item. The countdown will begin automatically if set.
  5. Remove Item: Once the timer alarms, carefully lift the heating plate. Use heat-resistant gloves to remove the hot item and peel the transfer according to its specific instructions (hot peel or cold peel).
