3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Assembling the Hoses
- Connect the hose sections. It is recommended to wet the ends of the hoses to facilitate easier connection.
- Ensure the total hose length is sufficient to reach the furthest point of your pool plus an additional 4 feet. This ensures full coverage and flexibility.
3.2 Connecting to the Skimmer
- Attach the compression adapter and regulator valve to one end of the hose.
- Insert the adapter into your pool's skimmer opening. A skimmer sock can be used to protect the skimmer from larger debris.
- Ensure a secure connection to prevent air leaks, which can affect suction performance.

3.3 Attaching the Cleaner Body
- Connect the remaining end of the hose to the cleaner body.
- Attach the hose float to the hose, approximately 50-70 cm (20-28 inches) above the cleaner body. This helps maintain optimal cleaner positioning in the water.
- Submerge the cleaner and hose completely into the pool to remove all air from the system before starting the pump.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Initial Start-up
Once the cleaner and hose are fully submerged and free of air, turn on your pool pump. The cleaner will begin to move automatically, cleaning the pool floor and walls.

4.2 Adjusting Suction Power
The cleaner features an adjustable regulator valve to control suction power. Adjust this valve to optimize the cleaner's movement and wall-climbing ability. A minimum 1.5 HP/1100W pool pump is recommended for optimal performance, especially for wall climbing.

4.3 Wall Climbing Functionality
The cleaner's tire design provides strong climbing power and suction grip, allowing it to navigate obstacles and clean pool walls. Proper adjustment of the regulator valve is crucial to prevent the cleaner from climbing too high and drawing air into the system.

4.4 Quiet Operation
The VINGLI pool cleaner is designed for ultra-quiet operation, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful pool environment while it works.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Cleaner
The cleaner's design allows for easy access to internal components for cleaning. To open the cleaner, press the purple latch on the side and lift the top cover. This provides access to the gears and internal mechanism. While regular thorough cleaning of the internal mechanism is generally not required unless malfunctioning, you can rinse it with water if needed.

5.2 Emptying the Skimmer Basket
Since the pool cleaner operates via the skimmer, all collected debris will accumulate in your pool's skimmer basket. Regularly empty the skimmer basket to maintain optimal suction and prevent clogging.

6. Troubleshooting
- Cleaner Stops Moving: This often indicates air has entered the system, causing a loss of prime. Check all hose connections for tightness and ensure the cleaner is fully submerged. Adjust the regulator valve to prevent the cleaner from climbing too high and breaking the water surface. The cleaner should restart once air is purged and prime is re-established.
- Ineffective Wall Climbing: Ensure your pool pump meets the minimum requirement of 1.5 HP/1100W. Adjust the regulator valve to increase suction if needed.
- Debris on Water Surface: When the suction-side cleaner is in operation, the skimmer's primary function of surface skimming is temporarily redirected to the cleaner. Any new debris falling onto the water surface will not be skimmed until the cleaner is removed and normal skimmer operation resumes.
- Hose Connections are Difficult: Wet the ends of the hose sections before connecting them to make assembly easier.
