5. Installation Guide

Follow these steps for installing your Sudokoo SK700 AM5 Air Cooler:

1. Prepare Motherboard: Ensure your motherboard is placed horizontally. Remove the original CPU retention mechanism from your AM5 motherboard.
2. Install Anti-Bend Bracket: Replace the original Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM) on your motherboard with the exclusive AM5 CPU anti-bend bracket provided. This anodized and sandblasted bracket is designed to accurately fit the AM5 CPU socket size, minimizing contact between thermal grease and CPU capacitors, providing double protection.

3. Apply Thermal Paste: Apply a small amount of the included thermal paste to the center of your CPU's Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS).
4. Mount Heatsink: Position the heatsink onto the CPU, aligning it with the mounting points on the anti-bend bracket. Secure the heatsink using the provided screws.

5. Attach Fan: The SK700 features an L-Rail Lock Mount design for effortless installation. Slide the 120mm FDB PWM fan onto the heatsink rails until it clicks securely into place. This tool-free method allows for easy fan removal and maintenance.

6. Connect Fan Cable: Connect the 4-pin PWM fan cable to the CPU_FAN header on your motherboard.

• PWM Fan Control: The 120mm FDB PWM fan operates with adjustable speeds from 500 to 2200 RPM (±10%). Your motherboard's BIOS or fan control software can manage these speeds based on CPU temperature, ensuring an ideal balance of cooling and silence.
• 0 RPM Mode: The fan supports a 0 RPM mode under 5% PWM load, utilizing Intelligent Start Stop Tech (ISST). This feature ensures zero noise during low-load scenarios, contributing to environmental protection and energy saving while extending the device's lifespan.
