Setup

  1. Battery Installation: The radio comes with a pre-installed 1500mAh rechargeable battery. Before first use, locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit and remove the insulating sticker from the battery terminals. Close the compartment securely.
  2. Charging the Battery:
    • AC Charging: Connect the provided USB cable to the radio's charging port and a compatible USB power adapter (not included) plugged into a wall outlet.
    • Solar Charging: Place the radio with its solar panel facing direct sunlight. The solar panel is located on the top of the unit, under the handle.
    • USB Charging: Connect the provided USB cable to the radio's charging port and a USB port on a computer or power bank.
  3. Antenna Extension: For optimal radio reception, extend the telescopic antenna fully. The antenna can be rotated to adjust for the best signal.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On/Off: Rotate the VOLUME knob clockwise to turn the radio ON. Rotate counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn OFF.
  2. Selecting Mode: Use the mode switch (typically labeled FM/AM/SW/BT/MP3) to select your desired listening mode.
  3. Radio Operation (AM/FM/SW):
    • Select FM, AM, or SW using the mode switch.
    • Extend the telescopic antenna for better reception.
    • Rotate the TUNING knob to scan for available stations. The frequency display will indicate the current station.
    • Adjust the VOLUME knob to your preferred listening level.
  4. Bluetooth Playback:
    • Switch the mode to 'BT' (Bluetooth). The radio will enter pairing mode, indicated by an audible prompt.
    • On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select 'M-Amazup' or a similar name to pair.
    • Once paired, you can play audio from your device through the radio. Use your device or the radio's controls (if available) for playback.
  5. TF Card/USB Playback:
    • Insert a TF card or USB drive containing MP3 audio files into the respective slot.
    • Switch the mode to 'MP3' or 'USB/TF'. The radio will automatically detect and begin playing audio files.
    • Use the playback control buttons (e.g., Previous, Next, Play/Pause) to manage your music.
  6. Flashlight Operation: Locate the flashlight switch (often on the side or front) and slide it to the 'ON' position to activate the emergency flashlight.
  7. Colorful Mood Lights: The radio is equipped with colorful mood lights, which may activate automatically in certain modes (e.g., Bluetooth) or have a dedicated control button. Refer to the specific markings on your unit for activation.
