Laser Targeting
The integrated laser helps in precise targeting. Point the laser dot at the center of the area you wish to measure. Note that the actual measurement area is approximately 2 cm below the laser point.

Description: An image illustrating the non-contact measurement capability of the Wintact WT313D. A hand holds the thermometer, aiming its laser at a frying pan with bacon. Text highlights the 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio and optimal measuring distance of 14.17 inches (36 cm).
Switching Temperature Units (°C/°F)
Press the "°C/°F" button to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.
Adjustable Emissivity (EMS)
Emissivity (EMS) is a crucial setting for accurate readings on different materials. The WT313D allows adjustment from 0.10 to 1.00. Refer to the included manual for typical emissivity values of common materials. Adjust using the up/down arrow buttons in EMS mode.

Description: The Wintact WT313D's display shows the adjustable emissivity setting, currently at 0.95. Below the thermometer, icons depict various applications like grilling, frying, DIY, fridge, and AC, indicating the need for emissivity adjustment for precise measurements across different materials.
Mode Functions (HOLD, SCAN, AT, CAL, EMS, MAX, MIN, LOW, HI)
Press the "MODE" button to cycle through various functions:
- HOLD: Data Hold (automatically activated when trigger is released).
- SCAN: Continuous scanning (when trigger is pressed).
- AT: Ambient Temperature measurement.
- CAL: Calibration function (allows adjustment within ±5℃).
- EMS: Emissivity adjustment.
- MAX/MIN: Displays maximum or minimum temperature recorded during a scan.
- LOW/HI: High/Low temperature alarm settings.

Labels point to various functions like Data Hold, Scanning, Ambient Temp, Calibration, Emissivity, Maximum, Minimum, Low Temp Alarm, High Temp Alarm, High/Low Limit Alarm Light, Battery Indicator, Laser On, Temp Unit & Down Key, Laser & Up Key, and Mode Switch.
Temperature Alarms
Set high and low temperature thresholds using the HI/LOW alarm modes. The device will alert you if the measured temperature exceeds or falls below these set points.

Description: An image demonstrating the temperature alarm feature of the Wintact WT313D. The left side shows the thermometer pointing at a hot grill with an "HI" (Over Threshold Alarm) indicator. The right side shows the thermometer pointing at a cold can on ice with a "LOW" (Over Threshold Alarm) indicator.
Extreme Value Tracking
The thermometer can capture and display maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) temperatures during a continuous scan, as well as the ambient temperature (AT).

Description: The Wintact WT313D's display shows maximum (MAX), minimum (MIN), and ambient (AT) temperature readings. The thermometer is held over a grill, indicating its ability to track extreme values during measurement. A note mentions the calibration function for more accurate readings.
Auto Power-Off
The device automatically powers off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.
