Setup
Battery Installation
The Tour V6 Shift uses a CR2 battery. To install or replace the battery, locate the battery compartment cap, typically found at the bottom or side of the device. Unscrew the cap, insert the CR2 battery with the correct polarity (+/-), and securely replace the cap.
Power On/Off
Press the Power button (usually located on the top of the device) to turn the rangefinder on. The display will illuminate. The device will automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.
Adjusting Eyepiece
Rotate the eyepiece (diopter adjustment) until the display and target appear sharp and clear to your eye. This ensures optimal viewing clarity for all users.
Operating Instructions
Basic Ranging
To obtain a distance measurement, aim the crosshairs at your desired target and press the Power/Fire button. The distance will be displayed on the LCD screen. For continuous scanning, hold down the Power/Fire button while sweeping across multiple targets.
Using Slope-Switch Technology
The Tour V6 Shift features a physical Slope-Switch button, typically located on the side of the device. Slide this switch to enable or disable the Slope Compensation feature. When enabled, the device provides compensated distances based on the hole's incline/decline. When disabled, it provides line-of-sight distances, making it legal for tournament play.

Using PinSeeker with Visual JOLT
When targeting a flag, the PinSeeker feature isolates the flag from background objects. Once the flag is acquired, the device will vibrate (JOLT) and a red ring will flash on the display, confirming that you have locked onto the flag.
Changing Measurement Units (Yards/Meters)
To switch between Yards and Meters, press the 'Mode' button (usually located near the Power button) until your desired unit of measurement is displayed.
Using Magnetic Mount
The integrated BITE Magnetic Mount allows you to securely attach your rangefinder to the metal frame of a golf cart or other metal surfaces. Ensure the surface is clean and dry for optimal magnetic adhesion.
