Setup
Battery Installation
The Tour V6 Shift uses a CR2 battery. To install or replace the battery:
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the device.
- Twist the battery cap counter-clockwise to open.
- Insert a new CR2 battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are correctly aligned as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery cap and twist clockwise to secure.
Initial Power On
After battery installation, press the Power button (located on the top of the device) to turn on the rangefinder. The internal display will illuminate.
Operating Instructions

Slope Compensation
The Tour V6 Shift features Slope-Switch Technology. To activate or deactivate slope compensation:
- Locate the dedicated Slope-Switch button on the side of the device.
- Slide the switch to the desired position (on/off). When activated, the compensated distance will be displayed alongside the actual distance.
PinSeeker with Visual JOLT
This feature helps you easily acquire the flagstick without inadvertently getting distances to background targets. When the PinSeeker detects the flag, the device will vibrate (JOLT) and a red ring will flash in the display, confirming target acquisition.
Bushnell Golf App Connectivity
Enhance your experience by connecting your rangefinder to the Bushnell Golf App. The app provides detailed hole layouts, 3D flyovers, and allows for wireless course updates. Refer to the app's instructions for pairing and feature utilization.

Maintenance
Cleaning Lenses
Gently blow off any dust or debris from the lenses. Use a soft, clean microfiber cloth to wipe the lenses. Avoid using abrasive cloths or harsh chemicals, which can scratch the lens coating.
General Care and Storage
Store the rangefinder in its provided carry case when not in use to protect it from dust, moisture, and impacts. Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods. The device is IPX6 weather-resistant, but it should not be submerged in water.

Troubleshooting
No Display or Intermittent Readings
- Check the battery: Ensure the CR2 battery is correctly installed and has sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
- Clean the lenses: Dust or smudges on the lenses can obstruct the laser. Clean them as described in the Maintenance section.
- Target reflectivity: Very dark or non-reflective surfaces may be difficult to range. Try aiming at a more reflective target.
Inaccurate Readings
- Ensure stable hold: Steady your hand or use a stable surface for accurate measurements.
- Verify target: Make sure you are ranging the intended target, especially when using PinSeeker.
- Environmental factors: Heavy fog, rain, or extremely bright sunlight can affect performance.
