4. Setup

4.1. Connecting Power

  • HDMI Inputs: Connect your cameras, computers, or other HDMI sources to the HDMI IN1-IN4 ports. HDMI 1 and 2 support up to 4K resolution.
  • SDI Inputs: The unit is equipped with 4 x 3G-SDI ports for professional video sources.
  • NDI Input (Optional): For low-latency video acquisition, connect an NDI source via the Ethernet port.

4.3. Connecting Video Outputs

The NeoLIVE N5 offers dual HDMI outputs and one SDI output for monitoring and program feed:

  • Connect external monitors to the HDMI outputs for PGM (Program) and MV (Multi-View) monitoring.

5. Operating

5.1. Powering On/Off

Press the power button to turn the unit on. To power off, press and hold the power button until the unit shuts down.

Use the input selection buttons (1-4) on the control panel to select your desired video source. The T-bar or CUT/AUTO buttons can be used for transitions between sources.

5.3. Multiple Transition Effects

The NeoLIVE N5 provides various transition effects such as FADE, WIPE, DIP, and DVE. Use the dedicated buttons and the duration knob to select and adjust transition speed (0.5 to 1.5 seconds).

5.4. Audio Mixer Operation

The built-in audio mixer supports AFV (Audio-Follow-Video) and MIX audio modes. Adjust audio levels for HDMI embedded audio and external microphone inputs in real-time. A headphone jack is available for audio monitoring.
