2. Android Device Connection

For Android phones, no additional app download is required. Simply enable the OTG (On-The-Go) function in your phone's settings. The flash drive will be accessible via your device's "File Manager" app.

3. PC/Computer Connection

The flash drive can be directly connected to your computer via its USB port. It will appear as a standard external storage device, allowing for direct file transfer without additional software.

Operating Instructions

1. Data Transfer and Backup

The ROSPE Flash Drive allows for quick and easy backup of photos, videos, and contacts with a single click using the app (for iOS). High-speed ports and quality flash memory chips ensure rapid data transfer.

4. Direct Media Playback

The flash drive supports direct playback of music, videos, and other media files, allowing you to access your content without transferring it back to your device's internal storage.

Maintenance

1. Safe Removal

After using the flash drive, ensure that you close any apps related to the drive and gently unplug it from your device. This prevents potential damage to the files stored on it.

2. Formatting

For small-capacity drives, FAT32 is the preferred format for better compatibility. For large-capacity drives like this 512GB model, exFAT format is recommended. If you encounter transfer issues, you may convert the format from FAT32 to exFAT by formatting. Always back up your files before formatting to prevent data loss.

Troubleshooting

1. Drive Not Recognized

  • iPhone/iPad: If the drive is not recognized, uninstall the "ROSPE" app, restart your phone, and manually download the app again from the App Store.
  • Android: Ensure the OTG function is enabled in your phone's settings. Check the "File Manager" app.
  • Phone Case Interference: A phone case may prevent proper connection. Remove the phone case and try again if the drive is not recognized.

2. Transfer Issues

  • iCloud Files: If files are stored on iCloud, download them to your phone or iPad first, then copy them to the flash drive.
  • DRM Protected Media: Media files downloaded from iTunes or other third-party applications with Digital Rights Management (DRM) protection cannot be transferred or viewed on the drive.

3. Displayed Capacity Lower Than Nominal

The displayed capacity may appear lower than 512GB due to differences in calculation methods. Storage manufacturers define 1GB as 1,000MB, while computers use the binary system where 1GB equals 1,024MB. This difference results in a slightly smaller usable capacity.
