6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Charging
The 5W solar panel continuously charges the camera's 10000mAh rechargeable battery. Ensure the solar panel is positioned to receive maximum direct sunlight throughout the day to maintain optimal battery levels. Under normal usage, a full charge can last up to 3 months.
6.2 Weather Resistance
The ieGeek S11 camera is designed for outdoor use with an IP65 rating, making it water-proof and dust-proof. Regularly clean the camera lens and solar panel surface to ensure clear image quality and efficient charging.
7. Troubleshooting
- Camera Not Connecting: Ensure the SIM card is correctly inserted and activated. Check the 4G signal strength in the camera's location via the app. Move the camera to an area with better cellular coverage if the signal is weak.
- Battery Draining Quickly: Verify the solar panel is receiving sufficient direct sunlight. Reduce the frequency of motion detection alerts or live view sessions if not critical, as these consume more power. Ensure the camera is fully charged initially.
- Poor Video Quality: Check for obstructions on the camera lens and clean it if necessary. Ensure the camera is within a strong 4G signal area.
- Motion Detection Not Working: Adjust the PIR motion sensor sensitivity settings in the app. Ensure the detection area is clear of constant movement (e.g., swaying branches) that might trigger false alarms.
