Maintenance
WARNING: Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
1. Cleaning
- After each use, clean the underside of the mower deck to prevent grass clippings from building up, which can affect cutting performance. Use a stiff brush or scraper.
- Wipe down the exterior of the mower with a damp cloth. Do not use water hoses or pressure washers directly on the mower.
- Clean the grass collection bag regularly to ensure proper airflow.
2. Blade Care
- Inspect the blade regularly for sharpness and damage. A dull blade can tear grass, leading to an unhealthy lawn.
- If the blade is dull, it can be sharpened by a qualified service technician or replaced with a genuine CUSHYBITE replacement blade.
- Ensure the blade is balanced after sharpening to prevent excessive vibration.
3. Storage
- Store the mower in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Remove the battery from the mower before storing for extended periods. Store the battery in a cool, dry place.
- The handle can be folded for compact storage.
