Setup

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Verify that all parts listed in the package contents are present.
  2. Attach Handle to Cover: Secure the cool-to-touch handle to the fire pit cover using the provided hardware.
  3. Place Lava Rocks: Distribute the included lava rocks evenly over the burner ring inside the fire bowl. Ensure the igniter and burner holes are not completely covered to allow for proper gas flow and ignition.
  4. Position Tank Base Holder: Place the circular tank base holder on a level surface where the fire pit will be used.
  5. Connect Gas Hose: Attach the gas hose regulator to a standard 20 lb propane tank (not included). Hand-tighten securely.
  6. Connect Hose to Fire Pit: Connect the other end of the gas hose to the inlet on the fire pit. Hand-tighten securely.
  7. Leak Test: Before first use and after any cylinder change, perform a leak test. Apply a soapy water solution to all gas connections. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Tighten connections or replace parts as necessary. Do not use the fire pit if a leak is detected.

Operating Instructions

  1. Open Propane Tank Valve: Slowly open the valve on the propane tank counter-clockwise.
  2. Ignite Fire Pit: Push and turn the igniting knob on the fire pit to the "LOW" position. Hold the knob in for 5-10 seconds to allow gas to flow and ignite. You should hear a click and see the flame ignite.
  3. Adjust Flame: Once ignited, release the knob. Rotate the igniting knob clockwise to increase the flame height to "HIGH" or counter-clockwise to decrease it to "LOW".
  4. Shut Down: To turn off the fire pit, first turn the igniting knob to the "OFF" position. Then, close the valve on the propane tank completely by turning it clockwise.
  5. Cool Down: Allow the fire pit to cool completely before placing the cover on or moving.

CAUTION: If the burner does not ignite within 10 seconds, turn the control knob to "OFF" and close the propane tank valve. Wait 5 minutes for gas to dissipate before attempting to ignite again.
