Operating Instructions (How to Play)
UNO Junior Gabby’s Dollhouse offers three levels of play to accommodate different skill levels. Choose the level that best suits the players.
Objective:
Be the first player to get rid of all your cards by matching the color or number of the card on top of the Discard Pile.
Level 1: Beginner Play (Matching Colors and Characters)
- Players match cards by color or by the character shown on the card.
- Number matching is not required at this level.
- Action cards (Skip, Reverse, Draw Two) are not used in Level 1. Remove them from the deck before playing.
- When a player has one card left, they must say "UNO!". If they fail to do so and another player catches them before the next player takes their turn, they must draw two cards.
Level 2: Intermediate Play (Matching Colors and Numbers)
- Players match cards by color or by number.
- Character matching is optional but can be used as an additional matching rule if agreed upon by players.
- Action cards (Skip, Reverse, Draw Two) are introduced at this level.
- When a player has one card left, they must say "UNO!". If they fail to do so and another player catches them before the next player takes their turn, they must draw two cards.
Level 3: Advanced Play (Classic UNO Rules with Characters)
- Players match cards by color, number, or character.
- All action cards are in play.
- When a player has one card left, they must say "UNO!". If they fail to do so and another player catches them before the next player takes their turn, they must draw two cards.
Gameplay Turn:
- The player to the left of the dealer starts the game.
- Match the top card of the Discard Pile by color, number, or character (depending on the level of play).
- If you cannot make a match, you must draw one card from the Draw Pile. If the drawn card can be played, you may play it immediately. Otherwise, your turn ends.
- Play proceeds clockwise unless a Reverse card is played.
Action Cards (Used in Level 2 and 3):
- Skip Card: The next player in sequence loses their turn.
- Reverse Card: Changes the direction of play. If play was clockwise, it becomes counter-clockwise, and vice versa.
- Draw Two Card: The next player must draw two cards from the Draw Pile and lose their turn.

Calling "UNO!":
When you play your second-to-last card, you must immediately yell "UNO!" (meaning "one"). If you don't say "UNO!" and another player catches you before the next player begins their turn, you must draw two cards as a penalty.
Winning the Round:
The first player to play their last card wins the round.
Color Blind Accessibility:
This edition includes special graphic symbols on each card to help identify the color(s), allowing players with color blindness to participate fully.
