4. Setup and Assembly

4.1. Battery Charging and Installation

1. Connect the charger to a standard electrical outlet.
2. Slide the 40V battery onto the charger. Ensure it clicks into place.
3. Allow the battery to charge fully. The charger indicator light will change when charging is complete.
4. Once charged, remove the battery from the charger.
5. To install the battery into the trimmer or blower, align the battery with the tool's battery port and slide it in until it locks securely.
6. To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery out.

4.2. String Trimmer Assembly

1. Attach the auxiliary handle to the trimmer shaft. Adjust its position for comfortable operation and tighten securely.
2. Ensure the guard is properly installed over the cutting head.
3. The trimmer comes with pre-cut 0.080-inch line. If reloading is needed, refer to the "Maintenance" section.

1. Attach the blower tube to the main blower housing. Ensure it is securely fastened.

5.1. String Trimmer Operation

• Starting: Ensure the battery is installed. Press the safety lock-out button and then squeeze the trigger to start the trimmer.
• Adjustable Cutting Swath: The trimmer features an adjustable cutting swath from 13 inches to 15 inches. Adjust this setting to optimize between performance for tough jobs and extended runtime for larger areas. Refer to the tool's specific adjustment mechanism.
• Attachment Capability: This trimmer is attachment-capable. To use attachments, follow the instructions provided with the specific attachment.
• Technique: Hold the trimmer firmly with both hands. Use a sweeping motion to cut grass and weeds. Keep the cutting head slightly above the ground.
• Runtime: With the included 4.0 Ah battery, the trimmer can provide up to 1 hour of runtime, depending on cutting conditions and swath setting.

5.2. Blower Operation

• Starting: Ensure the battery is installed. Squeeze the trigger to start the blower.
• Variable Speed Control: The blower features a variable-speed trigger, allowing you to adjust the airflow for different tasks. Use lower speeds for delicate areas and higher speeds for clearing heavy debris.
• Performance: The blower delivers up to 550 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) airflow at 120 MPH (Miles Per Hour), suitable for clearing leaves, grass clippings, and light debris.
• Technique: Hold the blower firmly. Use a sweeping motion to move debris. For stubborn debris, use short bursts of higher power.
• Runtime: The blower can provide over 75 minutes of runtime with the 4.0 Ah battery, depending on the speed setting.
