2. Important Safety Instructions

4. Assembly and Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

  1. Connect the charger to a standard electrical outlet.
  2. Slide the 18V battery pack onto the charger until it clicks into place.
  3. Allow the battery to charge fully before first use. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.
  4. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

4.2 Assembling the Stick Vacuum

  1. Insert the extension wand into the main vacuum body until it securely locks.
  2. Attach the floor nozzle to the other end of the extension wand, ensuring it clicks firmly into place.
  3. Insert the charged 18V battery pack into the battery slot on the main vacuum body until it clicks.

4.3 Preparing the Handheld Vacuum

The handheld vacuum is a separate unit. Ensure its battery is charged by following the same charging procedure as the stick vacuum's battery, if it uses a separate battery, or ensure the main 18V battery is inserted if it's designed to be interchangeable.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the Stick Vacuum

  1. Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly installed.
  2. Press the power button located on the handle to turn on the vacuum. The LED light on the floor nozzle will illuminate.
  3. Guide the vacuum across the desired surface. The motorized brush roll will agitate and lift dirt and pet hair from carpets and hard floors.
  4. For optimal cleaning, move the vacuum in a steady, overlapping motion.
  5. To turn off the vacuum, press the power button again.

5.2 Using the Handheld Vacuum

  1. Ensure the handheld vacuum's battery is charged and installed.
  2. Press the power button on the handheld unit.
  3. Use the handheld vacuum for quick cleanups, upholstery, car interiors, and hard-to-reach areas.
  4. To turn off, press the power button again.

6. Maintenance

WARNING: Always remove the battery pack before performing any maintenance or cleaning.

6.1 Emptying the Dustbin

  1. Locate the dustbin release button on the vacuum.
  2. Press the button to detach the dustbin from the main unit.
  3. Hold the dustbin over a trash receptacle and open the dustbin lid to empty its contents.
  4. Close the lid and reattach the dustbin to the vacuum until it clicks securely.

6.2 Cleaning the Filters

  1. Remove the dustbin as described above.
  2. Carefully remove the filters from the dustbin.
  3. Tap the filters gently over a trash can to remove loose dirt and debris.
  4. If filters are washable (check product specific instructions, generally HEPA filters are not), rinse them under cool running water until the water runs clear.
  5. Allow filters to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting them. Do not use a dryer or heat gun.
  6. Reinsert the dry filters and reattach the dustbin.

6.3 Cleaning the Brush Roll

  1. Turn the floor nozzle upside down.
  2. Locate the brush roll access cover (if applicable) and open it.
  3. Carefully remove any tangled hair, string, or debris from the brush roll using scissors or a brush.
  4. Ensure the brush roll spins freely.
  5. Reinstall the brush roll and close the access cover.
