Setup
1. Battery Charging
- Connect the charger to a standard 220-240V power outlet.
- Insert the 2.0Ah battery pack into the charger.
- Allow the battery to charge fully before first use. Refer to the charger's indicator lights for charging status.
- Once charged, remove the battery from the charger.
2. Bar and Chain Installation
Ensure the battery is removed from the chainsaw before proceeding.
- Remove the chain cover by loosening the retaining knob/nuts.
- Carefully place the chain around the sprocket and guide bar. Ensure the cutting edges of the chain are facing the correct direction (refer to markings on the chain or bar).
- Position the guide bar onto the chainsaw studs, ensuring the chain fits into the guide bar groove.
- Replace the chain cover and lightly tighten the retaining knob/nuts. Do not fully tighten yet.
3. Chain Tensioning
Proper chain tension is crucial for safe and efficient operation. This model features tool-free chain tensioning.
- While holding the tip of the guide bar up, adjust the chain tensioning screw (usually a knob on the side) until the chain fits snugly against the underside of the guide bar.
- The chain should be tight enough that you cannot pull the drive links out of the bar nose, but loose enough to be pulled around the bar by hand without binding.
- Once tensioned, fully tighten the retaining knob/nuts to secure the chain cover and guide bar.
- Re-check chain tension after the first few cuts, as new chains can stretch.
4. Chain Lubrication
The chainsaw requires chain oil for proper operation and to extend chain life. The included oil bottle is empty and must be filled with appropriate chain lubricant (not included).
- Locate the oil reservoir cap on the chainsaw.
- Fill the reservoir with high-quality chain and bar oil. Do not use waste oil or motor oil.
- Replace the cap securely.
- Regularly check the oil level during operation and refill as needed.
Operating Instructions
Before Starting
- Ensure all safety warnings are understood and followed.
- Wear all required PPE.
- Check chain tension and oil level.
- Inspect the work area for obstacles and ensure a stable footing.
Starting the Chainsaw
- Insert the charged battery pack into the chainsaw until it clicks into place.
- Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands.
- Engage the safety lock-off button (if present) and then squeeze the trigger switch to start the chain.
- Release the safety lock-off button once the chain is running.
Cutting Techniques
- Always maintain a firm grip with both hands.
- Position yourself to the side of the cutting path, not directly behind the chainsaw.
- Allow the chain to reach full speed before contacting the wood.
- Apply light pressure; let the chainsaw do the work.
- Be aware of kickback: avoid cutting with the tip of the guide bar.
- For pruning and trimming, support the branch to prevent it from pinching the chain.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your chainsaw. Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance.
1. Chain Lubrication
- Continuously monitor the chain oil level during operation.
- Refill the oil reservoir with appropriate chain and bar oil as needed.
- Proper lubrication prevents premature wear of the chain and bar.

2. Chain Sharpening
- A sharp chain is essential for safe and efficient cutting.
- Sharpen the chain regularly or have it professionally sharpened when it becomes dull.
- Refer to the chain manufacturer's specifications for correct sharpening angles and file sizes.
3. Cleaning and Storage
- After each use, clean the chainsaw thoroughly. Remove sawdust, chips, and debris from the chain, bar, and motor housing.
- Use a brush or compressed air for cleaning. Do not use water to clean electrical components.
- Store the chainsaw in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children.
- Ensure the guide bar cover is in place during storage.
- Remove the battery from the chainsaw before long-term storage.
