Important Safety Instructions

Control Panel
The control panel features an LCD display and several buttons for easy operation:
- TEMP Button: Adjusts temperature settings (High/Low).

Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Clean: Before first use, wash the removable nonstick stockpot and glass lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the main heating base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
- Assemble: Place the clean, dry nonstick stockpot securely onto the main heating base unit. Ensure it sits flat on the heating surface.
- Placement: Place the slow cooker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface away from edges and heat sources.
Operating Instructions
General Operation
- Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.
- Add your ingredients to the nonstick stockpot.
- Place the glass lid on the pot.
- Press the MENU button to select your desired cooking mode.
- Use the TEMP button to select High or Low temperature if applicable for the chosen mode.
- Rotate the TIME/START/PAUSE knob to set the desired cooking time (up to 24 hours for most modes).
- Press the TIME/START/PAUSE knob to begin cooking. The display will show the remaining time.
- To pause cooking, press the TIME/START/PAUSE knob. Press again to resume.
- To cancel a program, press the CANCEL button.

Keep Warm Function
- Automatic Keep Warm: After most cooking programs (excluding Sear/Sauté) are complete, the appliance will automatically switch to a keep-warm mode for up to 2 hours.
- Manual Keep Warm: You can manually activate the keep-warm function by pressing the WARM button. This mode can keep food warm for up to 24 hours.
Compatibility with Other Cookware
The main heating base unit is compatible with various flat-bottom cookware ranging from 5.9 inches to 8.3 inches (15-21 cm) in diameter. This allows for greater flexibility in your cooking options.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your BUYDEEM Slow Cooker.
- Unplug: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Removable Pot: The 4.7-quart nonstick cast aluminum pot is designed for easy cleaning. While it is stated as dishwasher-safe, handwashing is recommended to preserve the nonstick coating and extend its lifespan. Use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Glass Lid: The glass lid is dishwasher-safe. Handwashing with warm, soapy water is also suitable.
- Main Heating Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Never immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid. The water-based coating on the heating plate can be wiped clean easily and helps prevent scorching.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing. Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
