6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum.

6.1 Emptying the Dust Cup

The dust cup should be emptied regularly, especially when debris reaches the 'MAX FILL' line, to maintain suction power.

  1. Ensure the vacuum is turned OFF and the battery pack is removed.
  2. Locate the dust cup release mechanism (refer to product diagrams if needed).
  3. Remove the dust cup and empty its contents into a waste receptacle.
  4. Reattach the dust cup securely until it clicks into place.

6.2 Cleaning/Replacing the Filter

The vacuum uses a replaceable HEPA filter to trap fine dust and debris. Clean the filter periodically and replace it when necessary.

  1. Ensure the vacuum is turned OFF and the battery pack is removed.
  2. Remove the dust cup as described above.
  3. Carefully remove the HEPA filter from its housing.
  4. Gently tap the filter over a waste bin to dislodge accumulated dust. For a more thorough cleaning, you may rinse the filter with water (ensure it is completely dry before reinstallation).
  5. If the filter is damaged or excessively dirty, replace it with a new CUSHYBITE compatible HEPA filter.
  6. Reinstall the clean or new filter, then reattach the dust cup.
