2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the wheelchair for any signs of damage during transit. Report any damage to your supplier immediately.
2.2 Unfolding the Wheelchair
To unfold the Rubicon DX08, release any securing latches. Gently pull the backrest upwards and the seat outwards until the frame locks into place. Ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged before use.

2.3 Attaching the Joystick
The joystick can be mounted on either the left or right armrest. Insert the joystick cable into the designated port and secure the joystick to the armrest using the provided fasteners. Adjust the joystick length for comfortable operation.

2.4 Initial Battery Charging
Before first use, fully charge the Lithium-Ion battery. Connect the charging cable to the wheelchair's charging port and then to a standard power outlet. The battery can also be charged off-vehicle without removal from the seat. Refer to the battery indicator for charging status.
3. Operation
3.1 Powering On/Off
Press the power button on the joystick to turn the wheelchair on. The battery display will illuminate. Press and hold the power button to turn the wheelchair off.
3.2 Electric and Manual Mode
The Rubicon DX08 can operate in both electric and manual modes. To switch to manual mode, locate the red lever near the motor and flip it. This disengages the motors, allowing the wheelchair to be pushed manually. Flip the lever back to engage electric mode.
3.3 Driving with the Joystick
Use the 360-degree joystick to control direction and speed. Push the joystick forward to move forward, pull back to reverse, and move left or right to steer. The speed can be adjusted using the speed acceleration and deceleration buttons on the joystick. The horn button activates the horn.
