Carefully remove the ice maker and all packaging materials from the box. Verify that all components are present:
- Aeitto Nugget Ice Maker (1 unit)
- Ice Scoop (1 unit)
2. Placement
Place the ice maker on a stable, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper ventilation, especially at the back and sides. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight. The unit is designed for countertop use and operates quietly.
3. Initial Cleaning
Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker. Refer to the "Maintenance" section for detailed cleaning instructions. It is recommended to run a self-cleaning cycle before making ice for consumption.
4. Water Filling

Operation
1. Control Panel Overview

Figure 2: Close-up view of the Aeitto Nugget Ice Maker's control panel, showing indicators for "MAKING ICE", "ICE FULL", "ADD WATER", and buttons for "CLEAN" and "POWER".
The control panel features indicator lights and buttons for easy operation:
- MAKING ICE: Illuminates when the unit is actively producing ice.
- ICE FULL: Illuminates when the ice basket is full, pausing ice production.
- ADD WATER: Illuminates when the water tank needs refilling.
- CLEAN: Button to activate the self-cleaning function (hold for 3 seconds).
- POWER: Button to turn the unit on or off.
2. Starting Ice Production
After filling the water tank and plugging in the unit, press the POWER button. The "MAKING ICE" indicator will light up, and the ice production cycle will begin. The first batch of nugget ice is typically ready within 5 minutes.

Figure 3: Illustration showing nugget ice being rapidly released into the ice basket, highlighting the 5-minute ice release feature.
To protect the internal components, if the unit is turned off and then restarted within 3 minutes, it will first perform a 5-minute water pump cleaning cycle before resuming ice production.
3. Automatic Ice Making Cycle
The ice maker features an automatic ice-making cycle controlled by an infrared sensor. When the ice level in the basket reaches the sensor, the "ICE FULL" indicator will light up, and ice production will temporarily stop. Production will automatically resume after approximately 30 minutes, or when the ice level drops below the sensor, ensuring a continuous supply of ice.

Figure 4: Diagram illustrating the infrared sensor detecting the ice level in the basket, which controls the automatic start and stop of ice production.
Note: This ice maker does not have a refrigeration function for storing ice. It is recommended to transfer ice to a freezer for long-term storage.
4. Nugget Ice Characteristics
The Aeitto ice maker produces chewable, soft nugget ice. This type of ice is known for being tooth-friendly and quickly cooling beverages while maintaining a desirable texture for drinks like cocktails, cold beverages, and smoothies.

Figure 5: Visual comparison highlighting the benefits of soft nugget ice (better taste, tooth-friendly, faster making) against other ice types (difficult to chew, hurts teeth, slow to make).
5. Capacity
The unit features a 3.6-liter water tank and a 3.2-pound removable ice basket, allowing for significant ice production without frequent refilling. It can produce up to 55 pounds of ice per day under optimal conditions.

For effective limescale removal, descaling agents may be required. Follow the descaler product instructions carefully.
2. Regular Cleaning
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Interior: Periodically clean the water tank and ice basket with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue.
- Ice Scoop: Wash the ice scoop with soap and water after each use.
3. Draining Water
To drain water from the unit, locate the drain plug (usually at the bottom or back of the unit). Place a container beneath the plug, remove it, and allow all water to drain. Replace the plug securely after draining.
4. Storage
If the ice maker will not be used for an extended period, perform a self-cleaning cycle, drain all water, and ensure the interior is completely dry. Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
