Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure proper use, maintenance, and safety.

2. Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

  • Ensure the power supply matches the unit's requirements (110V AC).
  • Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug.
  • Keep the unit on a stable, flat surface to prevent tipping and water leakage.
  • Do not block air inlets or outlets. Maintain adequate clearance around the unit for proper airflow.
  • Do not insert objects into the air vents.
  • Unplug the unit before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
  • This appliance uses R290 refrigerant. Handle with care and ensure proper ventilation during maintenance.
  • Keep children and pets away from the unit during operation.

5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your portable air conditioner:

  1. Placement: Place the unit on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper air circulation.
  2. Attach Exhaust Duct: Attach the exhaust duct connector to the vent opening on the unit. Insert the exhaust duct into the connector and extend it to the desired length.
  3. Ventilation: Direct the exhaust duct outdoors or to a well-ventilated area to expel hot air. For indoor use, ensure the hot air is vented outside the room. For outdoor use, the unit can be placed outside with the cool air directed into a tent or RV.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 110V AC electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

The unit can be operated via the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

  • MODE Button: Press to cycle through Cooling, Sleep, Dehumidifying, and Fan modes.
  • Power Button (①): Turns the unit ON or OFF.
  • DRAIN Button: Activates the drainage function if needed.
  • TIMER Button: Sets the 24-hour timer for automatic ON/OFF.
  • Fan Speed Button: Adjusts fan speed (High, Medium, Low).
  • Temperature Buttons (+/-): Adjusts the desired temperature.

Operating Modes

  • Cooling Mode: Provides powerful cooling. Adjust temperature using +/- buttons.
  • Sleep Mode: Operates quietly for comfortable sleep.
  • Dehumidifying Mode: Reduces humidity in the air.
  • Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling.

Temperature Unit Conversion: In COOL/SLEEP modes, press and hold the [+] and [-] buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to switch between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉). This feature is not available in FAN and DRY modes.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air conditioner.

Cleaning the Air Filter

The air filter should be cleaned regularly, typically every two weeks, or more often depending on usage and air quality.

  1. Unplug the air conditioner from the power outlet.
  2. Locate the air filter cover, usually at the rear or side of the unit.
  3. Remove the filter.
  4. Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner or wash it with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  5. Allow the filter to dry completely before reinstalling.

Water Drainage

This unit features a no-drain design, meaning condensation is typically evaporated. However, in high-humidity conditions, some water accumulation may occur. A drain pipe is provided for manual drainage if necessary.

  • If water needs to be drained, unplug the unit.
  • Locate the drain port, typically at the bottom rear of the unit.
  • Remove the water plug and attach the drain pipe.
  • Direct the drain pipe into a suitable container or drain.
  • Once drained, remove the pipe and securely replace the water plug.

Storage

When storing the unit for an extended period:

  • Ensure all water is drained from the unit.
  • Clean the air filter.
  • Store the unit in a dry, upright position, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
