1. Introduction
The ABBREE MR-25 Marine Radio is a VHF handheld radio designed for marine environments. It features IP67 waterproofing, allowing it to float and withstand submersion. Key functionalities include noise-cancelling microphone, NOAA weather alerts, dual/tri-watch monitoring, and a unique vibration water draining function to protect internal components.

2. What's in the Box

3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
The MR-25 radio uses 5 AAA 850 mAh Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. Ensure correct polarity when installing the batteries.
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the radio.
- Insert 5 AAA Ni-MH batteries, ensuring the "+" and "-" terminals align with the icons marked on the radio.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2 Charging the Radio
The radio supports multiple charging methods: wall charger and car charger.
- Connect the charging cable to the radio's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the charging cable to either the AC adapter (for wall charging) or the DC charger (for car charging).
- Plug the adapter/charger into a power source.
- When charging, the keyboard will display a red indicator light.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off and Volume Control
To power on the radio, rotate the top knob clockwise. Continue rotating to adjust the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise until a click is heard to power off.
4.2 Channel Selection
Use the up/down arrow buttons to navigate through available channels. The radio supports 16 channels.
4.3 Dual/Tri Watch Function
The Dual/Tri Watch feature allows simultaneous monitoring of multiple channels.
- Dual Watch: Watch and monitor in turns between the current channel and Channel 16.
- Tri Watch: Watch and monitor in turns among the current channel, Channel 16, and a user-selected CALL Channel.

4.4 NOAA Weather Alert
The radio can scan and receive weather reports from up to 10 NOAA weather channels, providing timely warnings for severe weather conditions.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Vibration Water Draining Function
The MR-25 features a vibration draining function to expel water from the speaker microphone, preventing circuit damage after exposure to water.

6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Charging Problem
If the battery is not properly installed, it may result in inability to charge or poor contact, making it impossible to charge. You need to remove the battery and reinstall it, ensuring the "+" and "-" terminals correspond to the icons marked on the radio.
