4. Setup Guide

4.1. Placement

Place the sound bar on a stable, flat surface below your TV or mount it on the wall using the provided wall mounting kit. Ensure there are no obstructions in front of the speakers.

4.2. Connecting to Your Device

The sound bar offers multiple connection methods:

• Optical Connection: Connect the included optical cable from your TV's Optical Out port to the sound bar's OPTICAL IN port.
• AUX Connection: Connect the included 3.5mm audio cable from your device's audio output to the sound bar's AUX IN port.
• Bluetooth Connection: Power on the sound bar. Press the 'M' button on the sound bar or remote to switch to Bluetooth mode (indicated by a blue light). On your device, search for "Saiyin Sound Bar" and pair.
• Subwoofer Connection: If using an active subwoofer, connect it to the sound bar's "SUB OUT" port.

4.3. Important Note for Optical Connection (Dolby/DTS)

The Saiyin Sound Bar does not support Dolby and DTS audio formats. If you are using an optical connection, please ensure to disable Dolby and DTS on your TV's audio settings or within streaming video applications (e.g., Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, HBO, Hulu, YouTube). Failure to do so may result in no sound or distorted audio.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

Connect the power adapter to the sound bar and a power outlet. Press the power button on the sound bar or the remote control to turn the unit on or off.

5.2. Switching Input Modes

Press the 'M' button on the sound bar or the 'BT', 'OPT', 'AUX' buttons on the remote control to cycle through the input modes: Bluetooth, Optical, and AUX. The indicator light on the sound bar will change color to reflect the current mode (e.g., Blue for Bluetooth, Purple for Optical, Green for AUX).

5.3. Bluetooth Pairing

In Bluetooth mode, the sound bar will automatically enter pairing mode. On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, search for "Saiyin Sound Bar" in the Bluetooth settings and select it to connect. To disconnect a currently paired Bluetooth device, press and hold the 'M' button on the sound bar for approximately 2 seconds.

Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the sound bar or remote control to adjust the volume. Press the 'MUTE' button on the remote to mute or unmute the sound.
