Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, charge the Brighter R unit for at least 3 hours to ensure optimal battery performance. The unit uses a USB Type-C port for charging.

2. Thread Compatibility and Attachment

The Brighter R Tracer Unit is designed for airsoft use only. It features a 14mm counter-clockwise (CCW) negative thread. An included 11mm adapter (M14- to M11+) allows for broader compatibility.

Identify the thread type on your airsoft AEG or GBB pistol/rifle barrel.
If your barrel has an 11mm positive thread, attach the M14- to M11+ adapter to the Brighter R unit first, then screw the assembly onto your barrel.
If your barrel has a 14mm CCW negative thread, directly screw the Brighter R unit onto the barrel.
Ensure the unit is securely fastened to prevent loosening during use.

Operating Instructions

1. BB Compatibility

The BRIGHTER R unit is designed to work with both green and red tracer BBs. For optimal illumination, use high-quality tracer BBs.

2. Illumination Effect

The unit is equipped with an integrated light system that activates tracer BBs as they pass through, creating a glowing trail effect. This unit is designed exclusively for use with airsoft tracer BBs and does not produce any real flash or noise.

3. Smart Power Functionality

The Brighter R features motion-activated smart power control:

The unit powers on automatically with movement (Shake & On).
It automatically enters sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery.

Maintenance

1. Battery Care

To prolong battery life and prevent deep discharge, recharge the unit at least once every 2 months if it remains unused for extended periods.

2. Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the tracer unit with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish or internal components.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
Tracer unit does not illuminate BBs.	Battery is low or depleted. Non-tracer BBs are being used. Airsoft gun barrel extends too far into the tracer unit, blocking the sensor.	Charge the unit for at least 3 hours. Ensure you are using green or red tracer BBs. Check if your airsoft gun's inner barrel protrudes too far into the tracer unit. An extension may be needed for some models to prevent the barrel from blocking the internal sensor.
Unit does not turn on.	Battery is depleted. Unit is in sleep mode and has not been moved.	Charge the unit. Gently shake the unit to activate its motion-sensing power-on feature.
Unit loosens during use.	Not tightened sufficiently.	Ensure the unit (and adapter, if used) is securely tightened onto the barrel. Do not overtighten.
