Setup & Charging

The Nitecore TINI 3 comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the device.

Locate the USB-C charging port on the side of the flashlight. The port is protected by a cover to ensure water and dust resistance.
Gently open the USB-C protection cover.
Connect the included USB-C charging cable to the flashlight's port and plug the other end into a compatible USB power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port, power bank).
The OLED display will show the charging progress and battery percentage. A full charge typically takes about 1.5 hours.
Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and securely close the USB-C protection cover to maintain the device's water resistance.

Operating Instructions

The TINI 3 features a dual-button interface for intuitive control: a Power Button (⑂) and a Mode Button (☰).

Power On/Off

To Turn On: Press the Power Button (⑂). The flashlight will turn on in the previously used brightness level (except Turbo).
To Turn Off: While the flashlight is on, press the Power Button (⑂).

Brightness Levels

The TINI 3 offers five brightness levels: Ultra-low (1 Lumen), Low (15 Lumens), Mid (65 Lumens), High (200 Lumens), and Turbo (600 Lumens).

To Cycle Through Levels: While the flashlight is on, press the Mode Button (☰) repeatedly to cycle through Ultra-low, Low, Mid, and High.
Direct Access to Turbo: While the flashlight is on or off, press and hold the Mode Button (☰) to instantly activate Turbo mode (600 lumens). Release the button to turn off Turbo mode.
Direct Access to Ultra-low: While the flashlight is off, press and hold the Power Button (⑂) to instantly activate Ultra-low mode (1 lumen). Release the button to turn off Ultra-low mode.

Color Temperature Switching

The TINI 3 allows you to switch between different color temperatures:

While the flashlight is on, press and hold both the Power Button (⑂) and the Mode Button (☰) simultaneously to cycle through Warm (3000K), Neutral White (4500K), and Cool White (6500K). Release the buttons when your desired color temperature is displayed.

Lockout Modes

The TINI 3 features two lockout modes to prevent accidental activation:

To Enter Lockout Mode: While the flashlight is off, press and hold the Power Button (⑂) until the OLED display shows a lock icon. There are two types of lockout:

Semi Lockout Mode (Lockout 1): In this mode, the Power Button (⑂) is disabled, but you can still access Turbo mode by pressing and holding the Mode Button (☰).
Full Lockout Mode (Lockout 2): Both the Power Button (⑂) and Mode Button (☰) are disabled. This is ideal for safer carrying or storage.

To Switch Between Lockout Modes: While in Lockout 1, press and hold the Power Button (⑂) again to switch to Lockout 2.
To Exit Lockout Mode: While in either lockout mode, press and hold both the Power Button (⑂) and the Mode Button (☰) simultaneously until the OLED display shows an unlock icon. The flashlight will then turn on in Ultra-low mode.

Battery Level Check

While the flashlight is off, briefly press the Mode Button (☰). The OLED display will show the current battery percentage.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Nitecore TINI 3, please follow these maintenance guidelines:

Cleaning: Regularly wipe the flashlight body with a clean, soft cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Charging Port: Keep the USB-C charging port clean and free of debris. Always ensure the rubber cover is securely closed when not charging to prevent water and dust ingress.
Storage: If storing the flashlight for an extended period, charge it fully every 3 months to maintain battery health. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Avoid Disassembly: Do not attempt to disassemble the flashlight, as this may damage the internal components and void the warranty.
