4. System Overview

The NBVOICE NBVXA218 is a powerful stereo PA system designed for versatile audio applications. It features an 18-inch active subwoofer for deep bass and four line array speakers for broad sound coverage. The system includes adjustable tripods for flexible placement and multiple connectivity options.

5. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your NBVOICE NBVXA218 PA System:

  1. Positioning: Place the active subwoofer on a stable surface. Position the two tripods on either side of the subwoofer, ensuring they are stable.
  2. Mounting Line Array Speakers: Mount two line array speakers onto each tripod. The speakers can be adjusted up to 30 degrees for optimal sound dispersion.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the subwoofer's AC power input and then to a suitable power outlet. Ensure the main power switch is in the OFF position before connecting.
  4. Speaker Connections:
    • Connect the line array speakers to the subwoofer using the provided speaker cables.
    • Use the blue speaker jumper cables to connect the two line array speakers on each tripod to each other.
    • Connect the subwoofer to an external audio source (e.g., mixer, smartphone, tablet) using appropriate cables (XLR, 1/4" TRS, RCA, 3.5mm AUX).
  5. Power On: Once all connections are secure, switch the main power switch on the subwoofer to the ON position.

6.1. Multi-function Control Panel (Top of Subwoofer)

  • Digital Display: Shows current mode and track information.
  • USB Port: Insert a USB drive for direct audio playback.

  • Input Jacks (LINE R/L): XLR and 1/4" TRS combo jacks for connecting external audio sources like mixers, instruments, or other audio devices.
  • XLR Output (LINE OUT R/L): For connecting additional active speakers or sending the audio signal to other sound equipment.
  • Mono/Stereo Switch: Press to select Stereo mode (sound from left and right inputs is separated). Release for Mono mode (left and right inputs are summed).
  • DSP Preset: Rotate the knob to select from four sound effect modes:
    • 1. Normal: Standard sound profile.
    • 2. Live: Optimized for live music performances.
    • 3. DJ: Enhanced for DJ sets with prominent bass.
    • 4. Speech: Clearer vocal reproduction for presentations or speeches.
  • SUB LEVEL: Adjusts the volume level of the subwoofer.
  • FULL RANGE LEVEL: Adjusts the volume level of the line array speakers.
  • Main Power Switch: Turns the system ON/OFF.

6.3. Remote Control

The included remote control allows for convenient adjustment of playback, mode selection, and volume from a distance.

7. Maintenance
