2. Package Contents
The standard KERUI W184 alarm kit includes the following components:

3. Setup
3.1. SIM Card Installation
The W184 system supports a standard GSM 2G/4G SIM card (not included). Ensure the SIM card's PIN code is disabled before insertion. The system will use the SIM card for alert calls and SMS notifications.
- Locate the SIM card slot on the side of the W184 main panel.
- Carefully insert the SIM card into the slot until it clicks into place.
- Power on the device. The system will automatically detect the SIM card.
3.2. App Installation and WiFi Connection
The KERUI W184 connects to your smartphone via the Tuya Smart app (iOS/Android) using a 2.4 GHz WiFi network (5 GHz WiFi is not supported).
- Download the "Tuya Smart" app from your device's app store. You can scan the QR codes provided in Figure 3 for direct access.
- Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network.
- On the W184 control panel, navigate to [WiFi Settings] and then select [WiFi Config].
- In the Tuya Smart app, follow the instructions to add a new device. Select the alarm system and enter your 2.4 GHz WiFi password.
- Confirm the indicator on the alarm panel is blinking rapidly as prompted by the app.
- The app will search for and add the device. Once added, you can control the system remotely.

3.3. Pairing Remote Controls and Detectors
The system supports up to 150 different sensors. Follow these steps to pair remote controls and detectors:
- On the W184 control panel, navigate to [Add Remote Controls] or [Add Detector] in the settings menu.
- For remote controls, press any button on the remote when prompted by the panel.
- For detectors (PIR, door/window sensors), trigger the sensor (e.g., open a door, wave in front of PIR) when prompted by the panel.
- The panel will confirm successful pairing.

4. Operating the System
4.1. Arming and Disarming
The W184 system offers multiple arming modes:
- Away Armed: All sensors are active. Suitable when no one is home.
- Home Armed: Perimeter sensors (e.g., door/window contacts) are active, while internal motion sensors can be set to inactive. Allows free movement inside.
- Disarmed: All sensors are inactive.
You can arm/disarm the system using the control panel, remote controls, or the Tuya Smart app.
4.2. Two-Way Audio Communication
The W184 panel supports two-way audio, allowing you to communicate through the alarm host as a common phone. This feature can also be used to deter intruders remotely via the app.

4.3. Scheduled Arming/Disarming
Program specific times for the system to automatically arm or disarm, aligning with your daily schedule.

4.4. SMS Control
Control the alarm system via SMS commands from your registered phone number. This allows for basic arming, disarming, and status checks even without internet access.
4.5. SOS Function
In case of emergency, activate the SOS function via the panel or remote control. This will trigger the siren and send immediate alerts to pre-programmed emergency contacts.
